Newbie here after the loss of ES

Like was said, we are Commanders for now. I will assume we are the Commanders for the foreseeable future unless the organization tells us otherwise. For the sake of the fanbase I would be up for just about anything that will help us all move on in a positive way. I wasn't a supporter of Redwolves, but I did like Wolves and Warriors. At this point, I would get behind Redwolves if they somehow managed to pull it off. I said it on Extremeskins and I will say it here now as well, the best thing they could have done this season was start wearing the Gold pants. For me, we are the closest in look to "us" as we have been since 2022 this season.

I say we try to keep as much of the history as possible. Colors, etc. Link our new identy to the past as much as possible but also open it as much as possible for the future. Do everything we can to eliminate the 25 years of misery and shame.
 
Migrating over as well from ES--very sad to see it go! It was a staple of so many's fandom, it's a great loss. It's good to see a few familiar names. We waded through a river of shit that was Dan Snyder, and now it's time to celebrate! Lets Go!
 
Also a 20+ year, mostly lurker from ES. Don't know who it was that posted this link to your site on reddit, but Thank-you. That place sucked. This looks like a good place to be.
 
That was me :) Like I said, Reddit is scary - very hostile place. You'll love it here and we're glad to have you.

It is kind of funny though. The team actually sought out a message board and paid for ES, then years later just deleted it from their website without telling anyone.

I’m a fairly loyal person and ES was the first message board I found when I went looking after Gibbs returned in 2004. I was so stoked about that I had to find like minded people. When this site was formed I joined up not long after, but found I was largely a creature of habit and just kept going back to ES. As I’ve been browsing BGO since finding my way back here I’m enjoying the old familiar feeling of those early years of ES. Already feels like “home”
 
Hey! New here too (some from ES might remember me as cooleyfan1993). Bummed to see ES go, even after i was, er, removed, I’d still go there daily without logging on, to read posts and get news on the team or just read thoughts on on the QB position (and ownership back when that was a thing worth focusing on).

I’ll try to be less of a problem here :)
 
I wonder if we should have a thread where we post our ES names just in case there are some reunions to be had. I left after being wronged and never game back, but still hold many fond memories of great conversations and miss many of my old ES pals.
