2024 Roster Updates

That is a mild surprise for me. I thought Stromberg had a chance to survive the Rivera purges.
 
I wonder how much Rivera is watching all this.
 
Ron was retired on active duty for much of the 4 seasons he was here.

When Dire Straits was singing 'Money for Nothing', Ron Rivera comes to mind.
 
So, Magee is on IR and the team cut Pittman at LB?

Wow, these guys are turning over even their own personnel choices at a dizzying pace.

How did Chris Paul make it? He had the lowest PFF rating for a starting left guard in the NFC at 37.1 last year.

I remember at one point they were saying Efe Obada didn't count against the cap because he was an international player or something like that. Might still be true.
 
One thing's for sure, complacency should no longer be the law at the land at Redskins Park. If they've made anything clear it's that anyone can get cut.
 
Burgold, that's fine, my issue though is a guy like Chris Paul didn't play any better than Stromberg or Tyler Larsen, who were let go in the offseason.

Yet he's still on the roster. I want to hear the rationale on that one.

Perhaps he gets swapped out in the juggle to the 'final' 53 that we put together.

But watching him was downright painful.
 
Yeah, I don't know. It may be that they had to keep someone and Paul was willing to play sub in as a tackle for that first preseason game and Daniels didn't get killed? It could be they're keeping Paul until or if some of their waiver wire guys become part of the team.
 
 
Glad to see Owens make the final roster. Always like it when a UDFA makes it. Kid really showed up in the preseason games.
