He can thump, allright.
I believe he's the one that knocked out Andy Dalton on one of his runs.
Not that I'm condoning KO'ing football players.
But you don't have to worry about him dancing around lightly.

I wonder if it's the type of thing where he can play with a cast on his thumb ?
I'm guessing theoretically he could, it may just depend on other factors.

Also - does this open the door for a Collins return ?
I would have thought for sure, that when it came to one week from opening day, that Collins would have signed somewhere.
I wonder what's stopping him from signing elsewhere, at least.
 
Likely he's got a monetary figure in mind that no one is willing to pay (to date)... No idea if he would be open to coming back here or what the state of the relationship is. I know he's got some limitations, but I really don't see how adding a vet like him could be a bad thing?
 
The team kept 5 safeties... I'd imagine they knew about this, along with the 'buffalo nickel' role being a focal point, is why that many made the final 53.

Also, as far as i can tell, Curl hasn't hit IR or PUP so i'd imagine that's good news about how they believe the recovery will be.

Dont know anything about this guy but I imagine he's just a depth signing. I think they like Wise / Smith Williams to spell Allen / Payne. I think we need to get that rotation going though, as Allen and Payne were probably a bit over-used as the game went on.

John Ridgeway the 5th round pick for Dallas this year was just picked up by Washington. They call him the Vanilla Gorilla. Cowboy fans seem pretty upset about this.

I'd take it a step further and say the Cowboys organization is probably a little upset too.
Because I think their hope and plan was that he'd clear waivers and they'd sign him to their PS.
He seems to be a good replacement for Mathis/Ioannidis/Settle, etc
