Great situation for him. He's got a little Big Ben in him as far as style of play. Could be a really great fit as they won't ask him to do too much and he'll have outstanding coaching.
 
I dunno about tanking, one could argue the Steelers won despite of Ben the past 2 years, he wasn't even 50% of the QB he used to be.

Trubisky can only succeed if used in a manner like Jalen Hurts. Dude can't read defenses but he's an athlete that can fly on the ground.
He's going to be the "White Slash" of Pittsburgh at most.
 
Scherff never seemed to love the organization, but honestly can’t blame him either.

Settle will be a Bill too

I will say, there are people who say "but they let this guy go and he blew up elsewhere" and I struggle to find players names that have that in the last 10 years. So many guys like Dion Hamilton, Josh Doctson, and Ryan Grant that people felt 'would be a mistake' to let them walk... then they disappear.
 
Yeah, I hear ya. I'm not worried about them. But, when people like Trent Murphy and Lorenzo Alexander walk we can all see it isn't a good thing.
 
Effing Browns are a total goat rope of a franchise. Watson has ruled out going there but they’ve already trashed their starting QB as mentally fragile and overly ‘emotional’. This should end well :)
 
Right? It's not pretty.

But, Baker is smart enough to know he's in a contract year and can get paid if he's healthy and plays like he has before.

I picture a typical "contract year" season for him. Browns will make the playoffs and he will bounce or end up like kirk.
 
Honestly, I think Adam Humphries is just as capable at this point in his career but no indication we are going to resign him so far…
 
He could be, but Cole is proven to be.
 
Beasley and Collins are both head cases.

Because he didn't want the vaccine? Some people think him standing up to the big bad bully is a good thing.
 
I always liked Beasley but don’t think we need that energy here
