Holy crapoly. (Thanks to my ex for that expression. LOL.)

Mike, I love ya man. You know that. But um....you might want to take the man's word on things (un-opinion related) NASCAR.

And FWIW, I can vouch for Ken's contacts. Not personally, mind you. But I have a good idea where this stuff comes from, as we've talked at length off the board. And rarely -- by rarely I mean "almost never" -- is he wrong.

I consider you both dear friends. the BS (outside of fun trash-talking) needs to stop. And it needs to stop here.

Just my two cents. Which given my financial situation is no small sacrifice. :)
 
The one thing that I will say about insider stuff and sources is that I won't post something that is an outright lie or is meant to destroy someone. Also, sources come and go. Some are constant. Five years from now, I could have no sources - or more than now.

Then there are those times when I shouldn't say a word. Made that mistake a couple of years ago when the break-in at Yates Racing occurred. It didn't affect the investigation, but releasing info at that time was not the wise thing to do. I still regret it to this day.

I'll continue to post some things when and if it becomes available - and if it is not something of a sensitive nature. I do it for the fans here and it is kinda cool to get a story before the media or others get a hold of it.

Also, being some sort of insider doesn't make me more special or a better fan. I love the sport and it is great to share the love of it with like minded friends.

On to Bristol!

Just have fun and post at will. We need to keep BGO a good place. Let's just enjoy it, post good stuff, and ignore the stuff we don't like.

Confirmed - and from stuff I posted long ago. He signed today and the sponsor will be Stanley Tools. Glad to see Taz hanging around in NASCAR for a while longer.

I think a little break from this thread was a good thing for me, and I regret taking things too far, Mike. Never my intent, I guess I just didn't realize when it was time to stop. Sorry about that.

That being said, Carl is peaking at the right time, while Jr. is peaking up at the guys who will actually be in the Chase. Your presence doesn't change the facts, SC. :)

No. 1 seed in the chase. 1,2, 4 finish tonight.
 
Well, SC and I picked Bowyer to win at NH. We got 245 in the game. We just lost 150 of it - NASCAR just penalized his team a short time ago.

So, for the first time in this game, players suffer right along with the driver that they picked. Stinks for us and I know all of you really feel for SC and me.
