Random Commanders Thoughts

Bill Cowher, all of one SB win, a HOFer?

Joe Jacoby, he of three rings and four SBs played, isn't?

Horse Hockey

Cowher I don't have a problem with.

Jim Covert from the Bears, on the other hand ... please. Someone explain to me how he gets in before Jake.

Also, notice how quietly and uncontroversially Harold Carmichael got in. Remember how Monk's numbers would be overshadowed by modern players, how he didn't go to enough pro-bowls, how he didn't win enough big games? After all the crap Monk took before the voters condescendingly deigned to allow him in ... Carmichael was a fine player and I bear him no ill will (anymore), but if Monk was on the bubble, how in the hell does Carmichael even sniff the Hall?

I would really be laughing my $$$ off if the Titans with a team full of retreads, Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill end up being pushed to the Super Bowl by Mike Vrabel.

All this time we were being told that Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes were the best quarterbacks that have ever suited up and were on their own plane of existence........

Nothing against Mahomes, but that Chiefs defense does look vulnerable to exactly what the Titans did on the ground in their previous two games.

The Titans are just junkyard dogs that won't stop barking

Meh. Nevermind.

Let's just say I'm not optimistic and leave it at that.

I read every word!!! The rest a you suckers are missing out :)

Are they limited to a certain number each time? I don't care who else gets in but they do seem to make some puzzling decisions. If it's a numbers game that's easily solved and don't have a limit per year. If there is no limit that's even worse.

We don't know what record Rivera will finish with in 2020 or what kind of organization this will look like in 2021 when he gets more players he wants into prominent roles via free agency and the draft.

But what we DO know is the previous set of coaches went 0-6 against the NFC East in 2019 and finished with the second worst record in the league.

Looking back under Gruden's tenure his record against the NFC East overall is horrible - and all the more so since the 2017 Eagles are really the only team in the division that has risen to any heights during that time.

And once again, the prototype model for big, mobile Left Tackles for decades to come is stiffed again. It's criminal Jake isn't in.

Rivera is 12-6 (.677) against the NFC East, so hopefully he does better than Jay who was 12-21 (.364).

I'd think Rivera is done with Cam's drama... or at least I'd hope.

That's not going to happen.

Del Rio came here on some assurance he would get resources for the defense and a trade for Newton would take away our picks.

Newton can't play anymore guys. He can't throw the ball past 15 yards with authority anymore. No one knows this more than Rivera. I would be stunned if he brought Cam to DC.

I just hope Rivera doesn't try to keep Norman. I really hope he gets shown the door via through the window
