Bill Cowher, all of one SB win, a HOFer?
Joe Jacoby, he of three rings and four SBs played, isn't?
Horse Hockey
Cowher I don't have a problem with.
Jim Covert from the Bears, on the other hand ... please. Someone explain to me how he gets in before Jake.
Also, notice how quietly and uncontroversially Harold Carmichael got in. Remember how Monk's numbers would be overshadowed by modern players, how he didn't go to enough pro-bowls, how he didn't win enough big games? After all the crap Monk took before the voters condescendingly deigned to allow him in ... Carmichael was a fine player and I bear him no ill will (anymore), but if Monk was on the bubble, how in the hell does Carmichael even sniff the Hall?
