Releasing Decker probably helps too.

Either way, they have to be huge favorites to come out of the AFC.
 
The signing for Shaun Lauvao is probably very good. Coach Gruden has watched him in several games over the last few years and probably has a good feel for what this OG can bring to the team.

The Redskins did go after the law firm of Byrd, Talib, and Mitchell today. Missed on all three and now it looks like they didn't want to overpay.

A few rumblings about Tanard being reinstated in the coming days. His original contract is still intact if the Redskins choose to take that option.

They seem to make a splash every year. Last year it was Welker, DRC, Shaun Phillips, and Quentin Jammer.

We simply can't whiff on a good safety via FA.
 
You guys waiting for big name signings are probably going to be disappointed. You don't sign big names to crappy teams if you want to turn things around for the long haul. Skins fans of all people should understand this. Our biggest focus right now should be the oline. The most important thing right now is to protect RG3. Everything else will be done in time.
 
I've heard that NFL free agents have changed the slang term for money from benjamins to elways.

Signing Talib and Ward help the defense but in the Super Bowl Denver was dominated at the line of scrimmage, these moves do nothing to address those issues.

Seems as if no one can figure out the Lauvao move or why it was necessary so early in FA.
