There is no like option on the mobile skin either, but I'll send you a PM.
 
The 'Like' feature is an add-on totally separate from vbulletin... Tapatalk supports the 'Like' mod but I'm not sure if we can get it to show and be usable with the mobile skin. But I'll investigate the possibility. I see the same thing you do on PMs - I can see the list but not the PM text when I open one up.

Okay...maybe I'll get tapatalk. There's like 27 different options when I go to download it, never know which one to get.

Also, now I'm not getting any notifications for being quoted - Henry just quoted me in the Santana Moss thread, and no notification.
 
I have noticed the the notifications for both quotes and likes are slow to show up. Keep tabs on it Lanky and let us know when/if it shows up. Several of mine have taken hours to show themselves.

Hmmm...the longest its ever taken was like 5 minutes after the post showed up. I will keep tabs on it though.

Okay, maybe Henry is just a ghost poster, because I just got a notification that Dead Money quoted me in the FF thread, still no notification from Henry's quote. Strange!
 
Henry is a Tapatalk guy - could be that the system doesn't recognize when someone quotes you via Tapatalk. Don't know that this is it, but just a guess.
 
I got it on my laptop, and on Tapatalk, but Mobile Skin notifications arent working.
 
I just was in my user Control Panel and clicked to the home page and this popped out in the left panel.

I'm using the Maxthon 3.4.5.2000 browser. Is this something on my end or something weird happening with the site?
 
I'm playing with a widget. Should be back to normal now.
 
Yeah, we've got the 'marked forums read' issue documented. We'll get to it eventually. Just a heads up, in preparation for roll-out of a new Premium membership set up, we've changed a bunch of user permissions. Most of you are going to see you have more access and functionality available to you now than previously - everyone has Arcade access, ability to post a personal blog, and a lot of other more detailed functions. If you have questions or issues of any kind as you stumble onto some of the new functions, let us know. We've also turned on a 'View your own posts/threads' feature which I think you'll like.
 
someone help me out, how do i post a blog. i go to my blog and it shows my recent entries which is blank but i don't see a place to submit a new one :(

edit: i feel like i've asked this question before...

edit2: oh hey, there is a giant red button that says CREATE NEW POST that I somehow missed. imagine that.

edit3: ok once i make a blog how do I post it to the forum?

I've posted your blog entry to the home page and folks can discuss it there. If you start consistently writing blog entries we can set it up to create a thread in the SOW forum.
 
Umm...I like the "Like" feature we have, but does there have to be a heart next to the person's name who "likes" your post. After all, this is a Football Forum. :doh1:
 
Are you talking about on Tapatalk Brian? The heart next to the name on Tapatalk means that persons post got liked. I you click the heart it tells you who liked the post.

There's a heart on the web version as well.
 
Oh - I see what you're talking about. We could swap it out with another image if we wanted to...but why do you hate love Brian? :)

FWIW: I think this would work great as a blend of the two styles. Black on the front page looks VERY good but on the forum posting pages I think white serves much better as the post background.
