IMO Thrones is off to a helluva start so far and really liking all the story lines. You guys just need to avert your eyes when my ginger wildling is on screen tho.
 
I've never watched GOT. I recently saw it compared in quality to The Wire and Breaking Bad. If that is a fair comparison I'll start season 1 tonight.

Is it?

IMHO, Its higher quality than both (and I love both of those shows)

Well now, that's a pretty committed stance! Thanks.

Also, I forgot to add: I'm not generally a fan of the fantasy genre. But, I'll give it a go anyway. Maybe the nudity will help me overlook that bias. :)
 
Not sure there is anything better than the Wire...IMO. But GoT is easily my favorite show right now. Of course, I think I was born in the wrong era anyway...but I like the way it mixes fantasy with a Medieval feel.
 
I'm not reading the thread the last week or so because I'm really far behind on quite a few shows and don't want to see spoilers on accident :)

but man, game of thrones may be the best show I've seen since the wire. it's just really well written and the story is really interesting to me.

I didn't get to see my ginger wildling :cry: .....but that last scene with Kahleesey (sp) was pretty bad ass.

And holy **** with the Night's Watch too huh!

Haha! There is only one "warrior" on that show and she is like 7 ft tall. Danaryus is a leader of warriors. Huge difference.

Stopped watching Vikings...it bored me.
 
Columbiana was the movie starring the hot MMA fighter chick I think. I would watch it just for her!

NatGeo had a series on recently about the 80s. Man, 30 years ago...I can remember it all like it was yesterday. Reagan in power, video games in the home, Brian had a full head of hair. It was a crazy decade for sure.

Looked it up: I'm thinking of Haywire with Gina Carano.
 
Both women are fine as hell and havent seen haywire yet. If forced to choose i go with Zoe.
