The TV Show suggestion thread

It is a shame, but I think that's a lot of cash. And his brother doesn't seem to be much of a help right now.

I havent really been thrilled with The Following and have fallen behind in episodes, but I think we watched episode 7 last night and I must say, Holy crap were some of the scenes insane. (Hint without spoiler: The rescue shelter folks). I may have to pay more attention going forward. Usually I read while my wife watches it and I sort of drift in and out watching it.

Yeah I got bored with The Following after a couple episodes. Thought it was meh.

On the other hand Vikings season finale is this Sunday and supposed to be a crazy one!

Game of Thrones is so good. I know what's coming and its still amazing! Hardest part is not spoiling anything for the gf.

I feel the exact same! Its so difficult holding my tounge when I know big stuff is approaching. I end up with "Oh just you wait and see" instead!

Just went through the entire first season of the Netflix Original series House of Cards. I cannot understand why they would limit the audience for this show to a paid prescription service. It's great!

Kevin Spacey is a great actor, but the supporting cast makes it. Robin Wright Penn is his wife on the show.

It's next on my list, El. Glad to hear more good reviews.

We just started watching Top of the Lake (w/ Elizabeth Moss from Mad Men) - it's set in Australia and gorgeous, really incredible scenery. Good story so far.

Vikes season finale tonight. :(

Thrones is gonna be bad ass...just cause every episode already is.

Defiance - Monday night's on Syfy. Give it a look see.

I'm all caught up on GoT, but I'm about 3 or 4 behind on Vikings.

Yeah, my bad SA. The lead is from Australia, but the story takes place in NZ. Regardless, great series.

I keep meaning to catch that but keep forgetting. Good I take it? I do like sci-fi for the record. One of my all time favorite series was Battlestar Gallactica, 2000's model.

Oh yeah Win...did you see Episode 5 of GoT? Your red headed wilding is kinda skinny...

:smitten:

You hush and divert your eyes when she's on El. :biggrin2:

Drunk Eli made a special appearance on Backyard Oil tonight

Without revealing too much, they are setting up Arya for next season's journey.

As far as who is holding Theon - they reveal it in the book much faster than in the series. Not sure what they're trying to accomplish by keeping his identity secret. I won't reveal it in case they're looking for a big "gotcha" moment somehow.

And I LOVE the grandma of the queen to be. She is ****ing HYSTERICAL and falls for none of the bull**** the Lannister's try to dish. But poor Sansa, no matter how hot she is starting to get will always be the play toy.

She's even better in the books!

Finally watched the end of Vikings - gotta say I was a bit disappointed. They played it up like it would be some huge surprise, but the ending was pretty much what they've been setting us up for the whole time. Not surprising at all...at least to me.
