The Rams Simple Beat Us (No blaming Morgan or the Refs)

I have to wonder how much bad reffing led to Carricker and Orakpo being out for the year. Clearly, the Rams were trying to end Fletcher's career with that cheap shot.

For those of you think that bad reffing does not impact our games think about all the late blows to the head, concussions, and other plays that the refs encouraged by never calling.

I'd use a word other than "chippy" to describe the Rams' play yesterday. I think several are deserving of suspensions.

(Don't know if Carricker or Orakpo were injured via cheap shot, but I do know there were a hell of lot of cheap, dirty shots)

For the record, its Carriker. No extra 'c'. :)

(Sorry, pet peeve)

Ack, Lanky through the flag at me. Offensive spelling. Still waiting to find out if it's the five or fifteen yard version :silly:

I am just wondering if there is anyone who actually thinks there was "no" impact from the poor officiating. I know I have repeatedly stated the refs were culpable to a degree, just you can't blame them for the loss. You just trying to bait again? It just looks like your still trying to blame everything on the referees.

The Carriker injury is not on the refs. He simply got caught in that turf as he was pushing 2 defenders back, you could see it as it was happening. That was unlucky. I have yet to review the Orakpo injury again, but will do so some time tonight.

El,

You are the one playing with words. If they are culpable than you do blame them. Culpable indicates that they are at fault, no?

I'm just more direct and not dancing around the fact that the refs were a factor in that loss. Again, I'd put 70% of the loss on Haslett and the defense, but I think a healthy 30% of it can be attributed to mismanagement of the game.

We play the Bengals in 5 days. I have wasted enough time arguing about this with you. And please don't say something as ignorant as "pathetic" because I refuse to engage you. You're not worth it burgold, I should simply have dropped it when you re-entered the thread today. That is the truth of the matter. I have nothing further to discuss about the Rams game with you.

Take it to PM guys.
