Who will be the new Head Coach

Schefter reporting Jack Del Rio leading candidate for the DC job. We're going ‘all hard add' on this new staff...

All I remember about Del Rio is he played for the Cowboys and his "chopping wood" thing in JAX. What were his defenses like when he was a DC?

Not sure about how he sustained them over the years with each team yet, but this tweet jumped out stating he's awesome at immediate turnarounds

Eric Schaefer fired. That's a shocker. This has to mean a big gun GM is coming and he ain't it.

Wow, I thought Schaeffer was a well respected up and comer in the organization. Some fresh eyes are definitely welcome all the same

Now reports Schaefer may not be out. Stay tuned.

Doc just said he spoke to Eric and not only is he not fired, but he's in the building working.

In four seasons as a DC, he had a top 3 defense three times. That's a hire I would be 100% in favor of.

Saw the report where they mentioned that Rivera will have a say in who the new GM would be, so the're on the same page so to speak.

You down with the 4-3, yeah you know me

Just think, if Callahan was really interested in the job, he be like...
"Umm, hello ?! This guy you hired - I beat him !"

Maybe, but also just as likely that BC knows his role, knew it was interim and is fine with it. He thrives as a coordinator/position coach and struggles as a HC. If he's smart at all he's picked up on that and embraced it. I'm putting a lot of stock in the hope that he stays as our O Line coach, I think he's one of if not THE best at that.

I was typing out how i was not sure that he still had it and i started thinking about the rebirth of Flowers, as well as the marked growth of Roullier, Christian, and Martin and i realized that the dudr is still good. Moses seems to have taken a step back, but you cant win em all.

I hope we hold onto him
