My father has an annuity he's looking to cash out. If he takes the payments as they are now, it would total about $50,000.
What he's having me look into for him is who is the best company to go with? I know there is JG Wentworth and Peachtree, but I have heard very good and very bad things about both. I heard Peachtree is easier, but takes a 40% cut, and JG Wentworth being constantly in and out of bankruptcy means your payment can't be guaranteed.
Is there a better company out there? Is there anyone who takes less than 20%, or is that a pipe dream?
