When Will the Redskins Learn?

As a point of reference:

Offensive line in Philadelphia: The Eagles are going to be without four of their top seven offensive linemen after losing tackle Allen Barbre and guard Evan Mathis to injury. A cascade of injuries at the same position can threaten the entire team.

They gave up 5 sacks and scored 34 points last week.

This week, and for likely several more weeks, they have almost no one to block. Let's see if they can still put up 30 this week.
Good points! Plus they are on the road at Indy Mon Night. That's a tough game, already-even before the injuries, esp w/ the Colts coming off of a loss and eager to put up a W. Here's to the start of a downward spiral for the Iggles!

We should have picked up Jonathan Martin as BB implored us to do. He would've been a huge upgrade at RT. Just ask the 49ers who started him yesterday.
Why the hell didn't we go after him. As soon as I saw what was going on with the Fins I was t hinking "we NEED to be all over him". The Right side of our OL is still a disaster.

It appears like it would have been a good move, but lets be honest. There was A LOT of media circus going on around him. New HC/OC, QB coming off bad season, name change debate, and a 3-13 season.... welcoming in another POTENTIAL distraction could have been just piling on. I can understand why we stayed away, it looks NOW like it would have been a good move, but I can't blame the F.O. for not doing whatever it took to get him here. We may have tried.

I Remember breaking down how bad that OL wad and how Martin was responsible for a high percentage of it. Plus with all of his baggage I'm cool with not getting him.

Yeah this team has avoided shoring up the RT forever it seems. Shit is beyond maddening! Agree 100% with BB on letting Moses get his licks now. Long too but TyPo removed should be immediately.

I think the Skins may have already learned. I've heard Gruden more then once, after being asked questions about Robert, bring up protection in answer to them. I'm pretty sure he knows if the line isn't fixed, it slows his QB's development... and he needs Robert to develop as quickly as can be.
