I have seen a number of posts inquiring about the whereabouts of certain BGO (or other sites) who have drifted off, disappeared, or otherwise vanished... and thought a thread to try and locate or summon them might be useful.

So - wonder away...

Whatever happened to Goaldeje? Goal was a huge part of our first decade here and just drifted off. In addition to being a Redskins fan, he was also an accomplished cook and lover of food. Had the pleasure of meeting James a number of times and hanging with him.

I’m still friends with James on Facebook. He’s doing great. Kids are getting married and are in/ graduating college. The family is traveling the world. He posts picks of most of his adventures.

While there isn’t a specific member, I always wonder what happened to some of the people who left because of all the shenanigans of the last owner. A lot of us threatened to leave, some followed through. I wonder what they think and if there was any thought to return or do they just live life without ever following football again.

Well hopefully he can retire soon, and Turn the Page like Bob Seger, so he can come out of the woodwork.
For those who don't know, I was being sarcastic about his love for Seger. He actually utterly hated Seger's music.
So much, to the point that someone created a thread as a friendly mocking to him, full of Bob Seger songs.
One of the most hilarious threads ever.
Those were the good days, when everyone was there just to have fun with each other, before that 'sub-forum' turned into a very...uh, shall we say, "tense environment" to put it lightly
