Welcome to Washington Allen, Gulbin, and Kaliakmanis,

So, it appears we may have one more NFL running back than we can afford to carry on the roster in terms of the numbers game.

Will be interesting to see if youth triumphs or MacNichols somehow holds onto a roster spot at 30.

Same thing at WR. The preseason competition should be good. Other teams may actually pick up some of our cuts this year. I think we did improve our roster with our limited draft capital.

I figure they have confidence in him with the mental aspect, he did play both guard positions and center. That might explain why AP broke his tendency and took a guy with a weak RAS.

That would be great news since he already seems to have functional play strength. So many of the late round OL we’ve taken in the last ten years felt like they had such a long road to go to actually play in this league because what they needed was multiple years in an NFL weight room for the rest to matter

Do we have any smaller shiftier backs we can call "little boy"

The atomic duo.

Nuclear backfield.

There are options.
Off the top of my head, I think I like Fat Man and Micro Boy better :silly:

Maybe not. I was thinking comic books though there was an old TV series too, I think

Fatman and little boy were the names of the atomic bombs we dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

So I guess when I think about it theres a distinct possibility those nicknames could be a little disrespectful when put in that context.

Ah yes, of course. I'm not sure that would be cool lol

Brother Om and I have been talking about it for years, but we would have no problem if our team drafted a QB every draft. We are in a rare period for Washington fans where we believe we have our starting QB for the next decade or more. But you never know when you are going to need another QB and we have had miserable luck finding that guy via free agency (Mariota has been the exception). If you are able to find a QB with any potential to play at the NFL level with a later round pick, that is a homerun even if he doesn't ultimately suit up in a lot of games for you.

Great, he's got his first concussion and we haven't even got him in the building yet.

You know what else was disrespectful? Sneak attacking Pearl Harbor. I could go on. Hirohito (even though he deflected all blame to his military leaders/advisors) developed a deep understanding of the acronym FAFO.

Idk, the guy is probably nothing but a long term clip board holder at best (which is still good value), but AP was around for the Purdy draft pick. I’m intrigued anytime he’s intrigued by a guy with an NFL arm, anticipation, and processing upside. I’ll consider Hartman an anomaly as long as he’s not on our roster at the end of the summer.
