Someone fill in the blanks for me :D

Allen feels like a good short yardage, power back.
Gulbin feels a good developmental center
Kaliakmanis seems like a good challenger for QB3?

All in all, a hail of a draft. If we believe the experts we got a ton of "steals."

as of now, due to fan backlash...athan kaliakmanis is my favorite commander.
Seems like a really good dude. Was a little bit like an excited puppy in that media clip someone posted. I did have to smile when he called Blough "experienced."

One of the interesting themes of Day 3 and maybe of the whole draft was that Peters sought out excellent players on teams that overall disappointed. Penn State and Clemson both had down years. Rutgers isn't a college football power.

Allen is the all time rushing leader in PSU history and scored 39 touchdowns, an impressive resume that puts him up there with Saquon Barkley and Evan Royster—hopefully he is more like the former in the pros. Anyway it shows how much running backs are undervalued that we were able to find that kind of production late.

I really like his highlight reel, he has great instincts, sets up and follows blocks well, good power and agility, finishes runs. He just looks like a natural. I have a tendency to get enamored with running backs so take it with a grain of salt, but I could see him challenging JCM and White for starting duties.

I am glad we didn't draft Skyler Bell. He was definitely someone whose stats at UCONN were suspect.

So, it appears we may have one more NFL running back than we can afford to carry on the roster in terms of the numbers game.

Will be interesting to see if youth triumphs or MacNichols somehow holds onto a roster spot at 30.

MacNikchols is probably toast brother. Non guaranteed contract. And Allen is the better prospect.

That is my thought process, but MacNichols is a survivor. Peters really likes him and he's an ex-49er.

McNichols is one of those players who as Joe Gibbs always said "fights his guts out." He's so much better on the field than he is supposed to be based on his measurables. I liken him to one of those guys that a team tries to replace every year, but somehow he keeps beating out the bigger, faster, stronger guys. I call them the "Jeff Bostic" players because the Redskins always seemed to want to find a Hog to replace the undersized technician Jeff was and every year he won the job.

I do agree McNichols is the likely man out, but I hope he gets an ovation from the fans and team if it happens. He's one of those unheralded guys who just knows how to rise to the occassion.

After processing, I actually really like the Gulbin pick. Looks like he is a mauler, and graded out well per PFF. Anchors better than Biadasz. I’d like to see him actually get a chance to compete for playing time.

Even if he was physically polished and pro-ready, there’s a huge mental aspect to starting at Center that he’s going to have to master. If we’re lucky we won’t see him till next year, or things may get rough. He’s definitely got potential, though.

One cool little tidbit I just heard on YouTube was that the Greek QB had been invited to be part of twelve top thirty visits so I guess Kaliakmanis intrigued a lot of teams. Makes the selection make a little more sense.

I stilll would have liked to see another O-lineman or kicker, but again, not going to complain about a seventh rounder.

Yup, and had we not taken him even if he went undrafted there's a good chance he could have signed with any of those other teams.

I see the logic on both sides but in the 7th round if you see a guy you like sometimes its better to not screw around and just get him.

I figure they have confidence in him with the mental aspect, he did play both guard positions and center. That might explain why AP broke his tendency and took a guy with a weak RAS.
