I hate the shock headlines... this one paints Apke like a headhunter and someone who needs to be disciplined... then the tweet within the article clearly contradicts that.

Troy Apke blasts into Terry McLaurin on helmet-to-helmet hit

Some Washington Football Team coaches probably saw a spike in blood pressure when safety Troy Apke collided with wide receiver Terry McLaurin on a from Dwayne Haskins. It was the play of the day, but not a good one.

yeah, what is Apke supposed to do here? He didn't "head hunt" and he needs to play at full speed, too.

McLaurin didn't seem pissed off, either. That is just the name of the game.

Yeah that's why I don't like Russell. He does this kind of stuff all the time. Multiple other beat reports saying it was basically a football play an no intent, then Russell makes it seem like Apke was out for blood...
 
are here zero preseason games? Any live practices with teams like we used to?

we need to see what this team can actually do. Seeing Cam Simms catch high tiptoe touchdowns in traffic makes me wonder "is this legit?" and I want to see if he is doing it live fire.

RUMOR has it that there will be a televised practice but yet to see the details.
 


This is not a political post. Just an update for Training Camp
 
Between this nonsense and Snyder not being forced out, the NFL is setting the wrong tone.

Charles is quickly sliding down the scale of people I am excited to see play.
 
lol i'm still excited to see him play.... just not confident it will happen any time soon.

I'm leaning more and more to him starting the season on the PUP and bring him back midway through the season. If Christian is doing enough, let Charles get to 100%. Best case scenario... Charles comes back and pushes Moses for the starting job at RT because Christian proves he's capable. Worst case scenario, Charles come back and pushes Christian for LT if Christian can't hold up.
