The Work Thread

to my photog friends...is it normal for a session (my wedding) to take a month to get the pictures back?

It can...depends on work load. But yes, that is not out of the ordinary. Ask Goal his turnaround time...18 months is the norm, I think?

18 months to get pictures back?!!

hahahaha...you chooch!!

but thanks for the first part of honesty.

garbage web developers and their awful programming habits and ability to obtain jobs they're not qualified for. because of them i have to sit here all night and write up an incident report on a intrusion into my network through their software.

****ing ****idy ****

(ps: at least i can prove it wasn't my fault.... was concerned for a minute there...)

and it was sql injection

which is like hacking 101 and programming 101

how ridiculous

Nothing like doing ridealongs with other reps to realize just how much I rock at what I do.

Love it when I get a message from a client that I need to call them back immediately. I do so within 5 minutes and their phone is busy.

So many things wrong with this.

So anyway, the job that I had for a little over ninety days was nice. However, the staff here nixed the idea of another ninety days or anything beyond. Yes, it did affect me a bit. Bah. Now I am back to being bored and relying on hobbies. It stinks.

Well, I was told that working from home is an option they are open to and think it is best for me. I don't like the idea, but it is better than the other alternatives. Again, bah. I have no clue of any good jobs that could be done at home. Any ideas?

Just had someone quit without notice. Were you born in a barnyard? Cripes.

John? Bob? I need a beer. Which one of you can I meet?

Need a photographer? I know someone skilled in what you do who may fill in for a brief period, provided the compensation is adequate to travel to you.

So Dayton is nice. Here all week, including Thursday night. My trainee asked how late we were staying out each night. I told him as late as he wanted, except for Thursday. :)

Ohio. I'm impressed you know about Dayton, VA though. I spend a decent amount of time there, and didn't figure anyone would know where it is.

I went to middle school in Dayton Va, and to high school just down the road at Turner Ashby! I lived in Massanutten Springs until I was about 12, then lived in Singers Glen, my dad still lives there.

Where are you staying in Dayton? I did work down there for a few months last year.

Ah! I went to JMU and decided to move back to Waynesboro a few years back, love it out there. I am down by the HBurg area a couple times a month.

I am at the Fairfield in Dayton. Seems fine, close to restaurants and all that.

When I was in high school I used to work at the carlton street pizza hut, I think it has been torn down for a while now.

Is that off of Miller Ln? That is where I stayed there. Smokey Bones is a pretty good place to eat, their smoked wings are pretty good, and they have a decent beer selection there!
