The return of Trent Williams?!?

if he takes a decent amount of money based on snaps played I would consider it. it gives us a season to draft and develop a LT without breaking the bank? I would do it and I didnt even like TW.

Here's the problem. Trent Williams really hasn't been Trent Williams since 2018.

From what I saw of him in the Washington/SF game this year his quickness off the ball in pass pro isn't there anymore.

He's still a strong man and can be effective when he gets his hands on the defender but Chase Young and anyone with inside/outside speed can now beat him which was never the case before.

When you add in the cumulative injuries at age 32/33 Trent is a guy that like Russell Okung is largely trying to sell a 2016 or 2017 version of himself in free agency to get one more large paycheck.
