Not so much because of his kicking performance.
But because of a health issue that was apparently affecting his kicking performance. And based on this video, probably was a factor in him missing what would have been an OT game-winner.

Real reason we let Novak go - an injury settlement based on an "over-active bladder" :laugh:

I gotta tell ya, that just pisses me off. He may have a wee bit less field goal range than other kickers, but he can drain them when needed.

I was pulling hard for Novak while he was here. He went to my old high school Albemarle high. He graduated with my oldest daughter as well.
