So Tomlin was hired as a HC at 33/34 years old with one season as a DC under his belt? Huh.

I always thought it was more Ben Rothlesburger than Tomlin that kept Pittsburgh good for so long.
 
What if the unfathomable happened and Harbaugh went to the Steelers? It would possibly make the most heated rivalry of all time. The drama, the intrigue, and mystique, those games would go for epic prices, and the NFL would bank off it. Even I couldn't resist that twist and attention destroyer.
 
Harbaaah to be the Giants coach. I guess they'll continue winning the preseason for another 4+ years.
 
It'll be interesting to see how Harbaugh assembles his staff. One could argue that his Ravens' teams have underperformed several years in a row. They were still a solid, scary team, but they never quite rose to the heights (especially in the playoffs that was expected of them.) If Harbaugh just does try to reassemble the Ravens gang it be a little Rivera-esque (although obviously Harbaugh and his staff were more consistently good than Rivera.)
 
I think Harbaugh taking over as Giants HC is the worst case scenario for us. He will have them competitive and it won’t take long. But it will also force this franchise to significantly improve this roster and do a lot better job coaching (whether with the current/soon to be staff or a future one).

I don’t think Dart is a long-term answer at QB. I view him a lot like Brock Purdy - plucky and talented but the punishment he will take will keep him off the field more than on it.

Harbaugh is going to elevate the Giants and make a highly competitive NFC East even more so in the coming seasons.

Odd stuff in ATL. Ryan has ZERO experience managing anything and he's team prez. Still no GM, either, and if I were an up-and-comer, I wouldn't take that gig since Ryan has final authority but has no football mgmt experience.
 
With Harbaugh fired and Tomlin gracefully exiting, I kind of saw that coming. Teams are running out of patience with reaching the playoffs but not going any further. Not sure that I'd want to do that in their situation, but I suppose winning regularly makes it easier to not fear that more losses will follow.

Bet Harbaugh wishes he had waited another couple days though.
 
After the poor officiating, I find it more surprising they let him go.
 
I called the McDermott firing earlier in the game. No Lamar, Burrow, or Maholmes and you go out in the divisional round? It's time to go. I'd take him in a heartbeat for our DC position though

Honestly, idk if I can remember a better open HC job than that. Everyone on the market would want it. I bet Kungsbury would think that he hit the lotto
 
Do the Bills hire Joe Brady as HC or do they force/convince the new HC to keep him if he doesn't get a HC gig?

I am biased to like Tomlin because of the W&M ties.

I hope he takes a year off, is able to actually analyze the league, see new things and come back with fresh eyes.

When you've been in one place for as long as he has been, and been pretty successful, all things considered, it's probably easy to stay with what you know. Now that he has a chance to breathe, he might be able to get some new ideas and evolve.

The only coach I can think of that's been at a team for a long time who keeps evolving is Reid. But even he got fired once.
