The Magic Of Coffee

I tried the Big Island Roasters coffee. Very good. But the price on some of these higher end coffee beans is insane. I am either going to have to start shopping at a higher end grocery store for beans (my local Food Lion has '5 O'Clock Coffee Beans' only - everything else is ground already) or find an online company that has great coffee beans but doesn't require me to take out a personal loan.

Anyone found such a coffee bean supplier? Really good coffee and also affordable?

I'm going to try Black Rifle Company coffee. Ordered a small order of a medium roast and dark roast and we'll see how they are before I go for a big order. Anyone drink their stuff?

Mom gifted me the BRC coffee club one year. They only have one worth drinking, to me anyway, is the "Murdered Out" dark roast. The others I tried weren't all that great and it's all pricey. $17.99 for a 12oz bag? No thanks. Costco has a good variety of great beans,(at least around here they do), including their own brand. The Kirkland brand French Roast & Espresso is really good and much more reasonably priced. The Mayorga "Cubano Roast" is my favorite, but I'm a Cheap Bastard and only buy it on sale, which is a few times a year at out our local warehouses. Even at the regular price, it's not stupid expensive. Their main production facility is in Rockville, MD.

I have a Costco membership but I'm not renewing it. I only went there for their meats and I now have a butcher shop 2 miles from my house. I tried one of the BRC coffees this morning and it was the best I've had of the others I've tried (including the Big Island Roasters coffee in the first post). I bought 3 different kinds so will give them all a try.
