The HC Dan Quinn Discussion Thread

Well, there are a number of thread that may be irrelevant now based on titles and need now ones for who is the new DC and OC and oh they will be juicy lol

I don’t know that it can be described as “in favor” of Quinn. The people who thought we could can Gruden to keep McVay or can Mike to keep Kyle stay at it, though. A coordinator basically never gets elevated in favor of their current boss in order to keep them.

(I don’t even think that’s the situation here, I think we were parting ways whether Kliff got real HC interest or not)

If they bring in Morris as DC, I am going to be convinced it's just business as usual.

Quinn is clearly on the clock in ‘26.

Yeah i think you're right... this coaching setup is going to tell the tale. If he doesn't absolutely lock down one of sides of the ball QUICKLY, that seat is going to get hot fast.

It has felt that way. I hope they interview numerous options
Bring in the lower level offensive staff from orgs like SF and the Rams. Desperately need some new blood in here to scheme to the talent available, something both Shanahan and McVay are masters at doing. Surely that thought process permeates throughout the entire offensive side of the ball and they've learned a bunch from it.

We can all hope so but it seems to be mainly on DQ and where his head is at

For all the people pimping the Shanahan offensive tree, that pipeline has slowed down the past few years. Coen is the only member of it to get a HC job the past 3 cycles.

There is a lack of quality in that pipeline. You would think AP and DQ would’ve gone to it in 2024 if they could but they must have felt the quality wasn’t there

The best decision DQ made was hiring Izzo. I always found the rest questionable. Look at the staffs out together in Seattle and Chicago. Then look at ours.

I like Daboll. But if its him less of Jayden running clearly isnt whats a priority
