I thought after the momentum high after scoring the TD the Bills should have "tush pushed" the "tush push" Eagle D through the back wall of the endzone but the Bills call a pass play which should have worked that Allen missed his WR on by a mile. Unreal!

I’m usually all for going for 2 in that situation when you’ve got the momentum, but the Eagles had less than 30 yards of offense all half. I think they should’ve taken the FG and gone to OT. But I guess their K has missed some extra points this year

My point about Jayden not being backed enough as to supporting cast. I know some here agree with me, some disagree. But am getting a small sense that Jayden agrees. Malik Nabers his pal liked an instagram post that went look at the receivers Jayden has to throw to. Now we got this from Jayden's mom.

Like i mentioned if Peters doesn't do something about this, the narrative is going to be old school Redskins as to this isn't the place you want to go to to be a successful QB.

The post in question, shared on Instagram by "Wommanders," a popular fan account with 31,500 followers, notes that the Commanders' offense has let Daniels down in two significant ways this season. His pass-catchers have been third-worst in the league at generating separation, and have hurt him with drops more than any other quarterback.

The post received more than 3,000 likes, including from Jackson. She knew exactly what she was doing.

Daniels isn't immune to criticism in how his 2025 season unfolded, but the team around him sure did him no favors. The lack of separation forced him to scramble at an alarmingly high rate, exposing him to big hits that led to multiple injuries. He ended up playing in only four complete games.

Injuries were a real problem. The most annoying take from some of the local radio personalities, Earl Forcey to me the most annoying in that mix with the over emotional everyone must be fired rap -- is the case that injuries are no excuse and there are teams with worst luck this year with injuries and are fine. Really name all the worse off teams?

Silly point IMO. If they want to make the case that yeah injuries were a big problem AND yes they were a big part of this team's demise this seasonm -- yet there were plenty of other variables that concern them going forward and here's what they are. That's fair IMO.

But blowing off injuries as some sort of a side bar footnote for this season -- that's just emotional venting without much substance.

Is Quinn the guy going forward? I don't know. But its wild to me that so many believe he doesn't deserve a chance next season for us to see. 2024 was the best season in 30 years. 2025 was the most unlucky season i can ever recall. Was the bad luck everything as to why the season sunk -- heck no. But no matter how you slice it -- it was the main reason not a side reason.

The outlier some like to cite is SF. The difference though with SF is they still had most of their weapons and started off with more than this team. And their star player, the dude who drives that team, McCaffrey was mostly healthy. When McCaffrey missed most of last season, the 49ers fell apart.

And the reason why am so tough on Peters for the lack of effort to build a receiving supporting cast with so little depth is because that action made them especially vulnerable to injuries killing the season.

I've been thinking of starting a new thread about the myths we choose to believe. I think I'm going to wait until the season ends though.

In 2024, the myth was that we got extremely lucky when we hired Dan Quinn because no one could have assembled such an amazing and deep coaching bench. In 2025, all our coaches are bums that need to be run out of town and Quinn is a hokey loser who doesn't even know how to run a defense and should have never been given a second shot.

In 2024, Daniels was poised to be one of the new faces of the league. Nimble, accurate, incredible vision and ability to process quickly. In 2025, he is considered a broken piece of pottery and the wrong QB pick. Another RGIII bust.

In 2024, Peters had an amazing draft, finding us a franchise quarterback, an up and comer at corner, and a diamond in the ruff tackle who outperformed most of the first round tackles. In 2025, Peters is a pretender who traded away too many picks and whose every trade down and choice has backfired.

I understand how these storylines come to be and how each retelling exaggerates the myth we are building, but I find it a little wild how those who try to keep it real tend to be the most unrealistic of all.

Drake Maye may (haha, may may) be hurt more if he was on this team. Maybe running more designed runs here would have exposed him to significantly more wear and tear. Maybe the preseason prep work that was (and wasn't) done here would have affected him adversely.

Read this article (below), and imagine it in the context of the Commanders. You can't. The scenario is the opposite. We need Jayden to constantly play "hero ball" for us to have chances to win games. It's not sustainable.

You can't just take a player X on a team A and say they would perform the same way on a team B in place of player Y. Football doesn't work that way.

Jayden was arguably the best QB in the whole league last year, given what the team needed from him to succeed, and what he delivered. There are many pieces to that puzzle though, and it's not all on Jayden. The "Jayden question" will need more time before it can be decided.

Nick Ashooh on air today measured and balanced, he's not in a panic. Sheehan is pretty balanced. lol, Brian Mitchell (normally more panicky) talked Finlay off a ledge, saying he thinks they have a good shot to bounce back.

But yeah some are in the injuries or a side note to the story not the main one -- as you mentioned Rouhier. Paulsen is hard for me to read on this but he's more positive than Danny.

But Forcey struck me as a ridiculous last Sunday with all these odd analogies -- like hey imagine if they fired Rivera early, wouldn't have things ended up much better for this team. Yeah, sure. Maybe Rivera's 7-9 "miracle season" wasn't the same as the 12-5 go to the Championship game season.
