The Bombshell

That ’announcement’ seemed far more intended to polish Racine’s resume than to do any real damage to Snyder.

After his last presser the DC AG Racine teased that there would be more to come this week involving the alleged financial improprieties. So far…nada.

Maybe someone told him to sit down and shut up after the last silly eposode.

Interesting. Looks like the NFL might have set Snyder up with a poison pill. Turns out in granting Snyder a waiver to extend the debt to buy out his minority partners they included a deadline that makes it all but impossible for him to repay the loan without a huge influx of cash such as attracting a new minority owner.

Given his problems, he can’t find a minority owner and so his choice seems to be sell the team or risk forfeiting it.

P.S. Boo on the Republicans for scuttling the investigation.

It's amazing. Dan Snyder is the most hated person in DC and that's saying something given the raft of politicians and other public figures that have passed through this town.

He only pleases people in the room by his exit.

This one might stick.

This didn’t age well…or did it? 🤣

Snyder is down there with the Building and Loan President in It's a Wonderful Life who was foreclosing on families mortgages and putting people out in the snow.

I can hardly believe we have found someone who can compete with the villains in fiction :p

Mark Maryland off the list of investigations

So the Commanders admitted they did exactly what they were accused of doing - defrauding season ticket owners of money owed to them.

Virginia, please pick up the white courtesy phone ...

Did they make him pinky swear to never do it again? I’m just hoping these are clearing hurdles for the sale. Otherwise, this is all just typical “I did wrong, let me pay you and make it go away”.

And of course there will be no mention of interest accrued on those multiple accounts all these years.

It’s now been one month since Forbes broke the Dan Snyder/ Bank of America story.

The silence is to be expected and considered normal.
