I still think we need to sign at least one if not two wide receiversRight now it seems like we need not to sign anyone new unless we get a great deal. Let's see who we get in the draft and fill up the slight holes with bargain basement veterans.
He played as a stand up OLB at both the Ravens and last year when he went to the Chargers. If we do play more 3 down looks he would be a stand up backer in base. Whether he stands up or puts his hand in the dirt he’s going primarily be setting an edge and rushing the passer.I know it's not the point, but I find it fascinating that that tweet calls Oweh a linebacker. The Commies usually have 4 linemen, and just about every message I've seen about him calls him a DE. What makes Breer say differently?

I'm honestly starting to think they are going to hold him until very late. Hopefully cooler heads prevail and they realize that this is not a good look in any way and may end the great business relationship we have had with themGuessing they hold onto Aiyuk through the draft and then release him shortly after that.
Though if they really wanted to screw him they could probably hold him until cutdown day. If he isn't owed any bonuses until Sept 1, they could just carry him right up until then, and then we'd basically have a Terry situation on our hands. Very much not ideal.
Part of why I'd still be trying to land Jennings if we could. Or why the odds on Tate are creeping up.
I wonder if Bill gets a text from the team with some “coaching” about the coaching…..
I just looked him up. He went to prison for a couple of years for gun possession and getting into trouble but he looks legit and so does his story. Mr football in Texas of all places so you know that he must have been good. Took over for Shady McCoy after he left school. Trained Trevon Diggs amongst others mentioned below. Got a full scholarship to Purdue. Here is a little more:I really hope he’s not paying that guy to train him, seems very amateur. A lot of grifters out there these days marketing themselves to the less connected and less wealthy players
I’d say definitely not, but it’s an interesting suggestion. They are desperate to resolve their cap situation, and Trent had them backed into a corner wanting a contract re-do.Would we take on Aiyuk's contract if San Fran gave us 2 of their 4 4th round picks?
I'd want a lot more. That is an enormous contract to swallow and like I said before I think AIyuk's bust potential may be higher than his boom potential. Right now, I almost look at him as Noah Brown plus baggage.Would we take on Aiyuk's contract if San Fran gave us 2 of their 4 4th round picks?

3 Hunnid Fitness was founded by Josh Hicks in 2015 in order to train the next generation of Running Backs and Tailbacks in Dallas Texas.
After a successful high school career where he was named TAPPS Mr. Football in the state of Texas in 2007, Josh took his talents to Purdue University on a scholarship. Following college, after multiple successful runs in professional leagues throughout the US, Josh began the next phase of his career—helping the athletes of all kinds achieve their goals.
Josh has trained pros like Aqib Talib CB for the LA Rams, Ezekiel Elliott, CeeDee Lamb and Anthony Brown CB for the Dallas Cowboys, Leonard Fournette, Noah Cain RB from Penn State, and Professional RB Joshua Harris and hundreds of division I college and high school athletes as well as training men and women in Dallas to help them reach their fitness goals
Josh Hicks is not your typical football trainer.
He sounds like an auctioneer," Elliott laughs. "'Can I get $500 ... I got $600.'"
His methods are unorthodox.
"THERE YOU GO."
His copycats are emerging.
"THERE YOU GO."
His style is authentic.
"GOOD S—, BOY."
ALL CAPS doesn't do Hicks' training theatrics justice
"If they messin' up, I’mma let 'em know they messin' up," Hicks asserts. "If it’s trash, I’mma let 'em know it’s trash.”
Trash cans and trash talk are part of the experience when you train with the 32-year-old.
From start to finish, his sessions are infectiously high-energy, smile-inducing —and so full of curse words you'd think a Guinness World Record was trying to be set.
"Man, I cuss," Hicks jokingly admits. “I cuss like a motherf-----."
Elliott swears by him.
"He's a great coach," Elliott said. "He demands excellence out of all his guys."
The FCC wouldn't last a second at one of Hicks' sessions, but many NFL, college and high school stars turn to J Hicks, aka @3hunnid_fitness.
Denver Broncos Pro Bowl running back Melvin Gordon is a Hicks client.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back and Super Bowl champion Leonard Fournette is, too
I completely agree.Aiyuk is a massive question mark, both health-wise, and just where his weird little brain is (the one that pissed away 30 million dollars). There's no way we should give up a draft pick to get him - and that's why I keep saying it's not a guarantee he ends up in Washington. SF wants him gone and if they find someone stupid enough to give up a draft pick for him, they'll probably work out the contract stuff one way or the other.

Last year's FA WR group was ultra weak as well.I think it's been a bad offseason to need a starting caliber WR. There just weren't many in free agency (there rarely are because they are so valuable). If we were going to get one, it probably would've been better to package Payne and/or some other players although we aren't exactly stocked with trade bait that would tempt teams either.
I think they would be foolish not to bring Deebo back. He's not the solution but he can help bridge the gap until we settle the position in the draft. I don't think we get Jennings but would love to be wrong.
