Larry Centers?Quality 3rd down back that can help in pass pro and has soft hands and can move chains is something we have had trouble finding over the years.

Losing Barkley to the rival Eagles and watching the Eagles ride him to the Super Bowl is an image Giants' fans will NEVER get out of their minds, trust mePlus, Giants are still probably having nightmares over losing Barkley in free agency. They want that juice back at RB in a big way. Love doesn’t get past them, but most likely will be gone before them anyway. Giants grab Downs. That leaves Tate. I think AP knows this, so he is not going to cave to any large Jennings demands.

I'm playing but definitely Downs. I'm not high on Tate like some here about him. I'm not hip on drafting RBs in the top 10 but a TON of draft analyst are all about Love in the top 10 or higher. No, I think if Love is gone you have to go with Tate or Downs if they are available.
Not a huge fan of White. But the signing makes sense for 1y. This basically says, “if love is there, we take him”.
I differ in my opinion of Pierce with most on this board. I think he is much more than he’s been asked to do so far and his 30mil/y contract will look like a steal in a couple of years.
Downs if the medical issues are reviewed by team doctors and given a green light seems like a generational player at safety.I'm playing but definitely Downs. We didn't give up anything for Zaccheus either, which is why I still don't get why he's supposed to be the worse player compared to someone who is allergic to full seasons of football. The whole point of this is that Zaccheus is the floor of what you should demand from a receiver. Constantly injured WRs are kept in the crawl space below the floor.True, but we didn't give up anything for Burks. We acquired him for nothing so if he turns into even a #4 here in 2026 it is a big win for us.
Meanwhile Howie Roseman and Peters determined that Zaccheus wasn't at a level where they wanted to extend his contract so I am going off what these GMs have done in re Zaccheus the past couple of years.
The guy in Chicago thought the same way evidently.
Burks injuries were not all that serious to his athleticism so I think Peters is of the belief that his upside is still there and you know he would not have been resigned last week if Blough didn't want to work with him.We didn't give up anything for Zaccheus either, which is why I still don't get why he's supposed to be the worse player compared to someone who is allergic to full seasons of football. Being able to play for more than of the games a season is a level athleticism in itself.Burks injuries were not all that serious to his athleticism so I think Peters is of the belief that his upside is still there and you know he would not have been resigned last week if Blough didn't want to work with him.
Jesus I’m 41 years old and you geezers are making me feel like a teen with this Beatles talk.
If we signed White because Peters, Quinn, and Blough wanted White - great.
If we signed him because Daniels wanted him - no bueno.
I feel even less comfortable with Aiyuk.
The trio of Burks/Luke/Lane combined for 37 total catches in 2025 guys. That’s less than Zaccheus who some here like to call a scrub accomplished on his own. We cannot cross our fingers and hope one of these guys is going to suddenly quadruple their production. We just can’t. If one of them emerges, that’s great. I’m not saying it’s impossible. But that can’t be the plan. The primary goal here is production, not ‘development’.
Losing teams bank on ‘development’. Winning teams assemble proven talent.
He never actually said he took less, and I blocked MLFootball, click-bait aggregator. Maybe he did, but massive grain of salt.Washington offered more?
