The 2026 Free Agency Thread

Detroit's pass defense was pretty bad overall the past several years. I don't know how anyone could think a guy that wasn't resigned there on team that is in need of help in the backfield is an answer for us.

Just really sad the way Peters makes us try and justify the moves. :pint:
The question is how much was he played out of position and how much did Detroit's D suck mainly because of injuries. They have had two awful injury filled years in a row. OTOH, the one thing we know is that the guy we signed is not suited to play outside.

Nah, come on, he is a good nickel. Tough guy for his size, plays physical.

Tell us more about him, since you’ve checked out his tape. Most people I’m seeing are just parroting whatever they see from an account that agrees with their preferred take, sounds like you’ve dug deeper

Hopefully people are feeling a little better now... we still have work to do and the day only started four and a half hours ago

With good edge rushers your corners don't have to cover for 4-5 seconds.

Let's not stop here. Let's go get another Day 1 need and put him in the basket before we check out.

Great pick up. As with all deals, the headline numbers look one way, fully guaranteed numbers will look much more reasonable.

Hopefully we can lock down a wide receiver real soon

Four and a half hours into my shift I’ve usually been on here for over an hour already, they need to practice efficiency!
