That wouldn't have been redundant? They're both strong safety types?Honestly should have kept both.

Agree on Shula but that is part of my comment. Curl had talent and was not used well.I think Shula has done a great job with him--he's a much better coach. When Curl was here, he was solid, but he was not a playmaker. He had a good rookie year--3 INTs, including a pick 6--he was pedestrian after that. 0 Ints, 1 forced fumble the next three years.

Figure it out. They can both do both things. A little creativity can go a long way. And two strong safeties would have been much better than the 0 safeties we had out there this season. That wouldn't have been redundant? They're both strong safety types?
Chinn was better than Curl. From what I understand, they wanted to match Chinn's offer and he never allowed them to--he also has McLaurin's agent.

I didn't realize that. I was expecting them to try extending Chinn before the end of the season.Chinn was better than Curl. From what I understand, they wanted to match Chinn's offer and he never allowed them to--he also has McLaurin's agent.
McLaurin's agent seems to be a problem.I didn't realize that. I was expecting them to try extending Chinn before the end of the season.
He was an excellent fit and was desperately missed
Yeah, there was a feeling through last year that he was rather incompetent.McLaurin's agent seems to be a problem.
I think the hopes of Walker hitting FA were just euthanized.
That's going to make Kenneth Walker less likely to reach free agency
They will get him signed in the post Super Bowl afterglow. It will but the Seahawks are not going to tag K9. The Seahawks will have to blow his socks off with an offer pre FA for him not to hit the market
I don't want to pay a Super Bowl premium for any player unless he is really a top 5-7 player at his position.
Too often these guys win the Super Bowl then they get outsized deals and never approximate what they did that season.
I would rather look for the best players on some of the worst clubs that don't want to resign with them and go into FA.
