I'm off of the BA train, dude is loco. Sign Diggs
I don't think they will sign him or Aiyuk at this point.

There are a few teams in need WR help, so if one does become available, there will be a bidding war. I could see the team that is planning a releasing a player instead announce they are accepting trade offers. Boutte is the only guy I can think of right now. If they wanted him, they should strike now. I understand he isn't a stud but he is proven unlike much of our group

After missing on Peirce and Doubs, I hope AP had feelers out on guys like Brian Thomas JR and Marvin Harrison Jr. They would have given us a true WR2 with Terry who could turn into a young WR1 next year. That way Terry won't have the team by the balls again as the only legit top WR on he team and they needing to rework his contract.

I find this entire situation utterly fascinating. As humans we are all self-considered psychology experts based solely upon the observed (and sometimes even perceived) behaviors of others. The public behavior exhibited by Brandon Aiyuk is certainly suspect and, therefore, due all of the scrutiny that it has been receiving.

What we have all witnessed is absolutely concerning behavior but we still don’t know what we don’t know. It may indeed be an Antonio Brown level of behavior and concern, it may not be. Before I would make any level of financial or ‘good for the organization’ decision regarding his potential I would have to conduct some very serious and comprehensive due diligence. I trust that Josh Harris, Adam Peters, and Dan Quinn are smart enough to do all of that the moment they are legally allowed to.

This was my original thought before yesterday. Just as you would make a contract contingent on passing a physical, you could do a psych evaluation too. But that was before this latest flare up. The big appeal with Aiyuk was his relationship with JD and desire to play here would make him a good fit, but it seems he can’t even get along with JD now.

My wife was a clinical psychologist. She thinks he may quack like a borderline personality. No thanks.

CTE causes impulsivity, aggression, erratic behavior, etc., and while I don’t think Aiyuk has a history of concussions, that’s always a possibility to consider with football players.

Wonder if that means Amos might start the season on the PUP.

Douglas has been a starter since forever, he had a good year last season, I doubt he'd sign on unless it was clear he's got a real shot to play.

Very true. I am not an expert though at deciphering the IG intentions of young people in general or rich, young athletes in particular. Main reason is that I don’t know what I don’t know. To be clear…I’m not in any way defending his behavior, but I’m also not willing to pass judgement on the man based strictly on the opinions of those who know no more than I do.

Good news, another outside CB. Hopefully he hasn't slowed with age. Had a decent year inn 2025

I mentioned him here over a month ago, when Keim threw his name in a podcast as a dude he knew they were interested in. On paper looks like a good signing.

I recall that. It feels like he was one of the top options so I am glad they pulled the trigger now.

Yeah for those who say all Keim is simply an educated guessor, he knows no more than we know, but can put the pieces of the puzzle just better than us that's all. to each their own but I know that's nonsense from following his reports for eons. He's not just making educated guesses that we can all do, too. lol, he clearly has inside info. Not about everything but about more than name that average fan.

Douglas was not on any fan's radar as an obvious signing, Keim brought him up in a random podcast. lol, another case in point about Keim. And lol I'll take the arrows for mentioning it. But yeah i don't care about Keim's opinion on football, but his inside info is the best among those that cover this team clearly.

Keim has proven over and over to have an inside track on team info over the years, even with a whole new regime

Yeah weak spot is clearly Z WR. If they signed Diggs it would be a homerun off season IMO.

Does it though? It improves the WR group, but Diggs was slot only in New England (it's why they swapped him with AJ Brown). We'd still have a question mark for the Z WR.

Antonio Williams, Jaylin Lane, Luke McCaffrey, Chig Okonkwo will probably be getting the bulk of their snaps in the slot. That is unless the vague rumor the team thinks Antonio Williams can handle Z is true. If they think Williams can, then yes absolutely let us go grab Diggs.

He's somewhat killed it. I know he has his detractors. The media is evil to some so Keim is linked in with it. Or some like to think no one knows anything because Peters they gather doesn't even tell the scouts or anybody in that building what he intends to do, he apparently does everything isolated in a room to himself with no one looped in to any of his thoughts about anything -- so its impossble for anyone to know anything about what this team is thinking or Keim hears things that people don't want to believe so he must have lost his fastball -- i recall that on ES when I mentioned Keim thinks they like Daniels >> Maye.

To each their own people can believe whatever makes them happy. But yeah for me no one beats Keim for inside info -- and no that doesn't mean he knows their every move in advance, of course he doesn't, but what he has heard seems to be true 9 out of 10 times.
