I dont think we are going to draft a RB this year. Just based on signing two in FA. maybe we add an UDFA?

I think Washington has done well at #7 and #71.

I just think now in Day 3 we could have made a move to perhaps give up some later picks to move up in Round 4 and take another guy who may be able to come in and contribute as a rookie who was projected higher.

When you are talking about #6 picks that have a 10% chance of making it in the NFL that to me is a time to make a move if you have belief in a player.

Belichick lived by accumulating #3 and #4 picks and having guys on cheap contracts for 3-4 years.

My preference is:

1. Prysock, CB, Washington. Can play nickel or outside, big dude, high RAS. Needs to work on some technique stuff

2. Sam Hecht, C, Kansas St

3. Kilgore, S, South Carolina

4. Deion Burks, WR, Oklahoma

5. Emmett Johnson, RB, Nebraska

I wouldn’t be surprised if they like Zakee Wheatley. I watched him briefly but not enough to form an opinion.

There’s a chance Prysock is there with our second fifth.

so you admit that 6th and 7th round picks have low probability of making it in the NFL. yet you think a team will give up a 4th round pick for a couple 10% chance picks. makes sense.

No, but if you trade the #5 pick and attempt to get into Round 4 about 15-20 picks earlier I think you can find a deal.

I don't think a team will trade a #4 pick for a #6 and #7, no I have been watching the draft for 40 years and am not that stupid.

We haven't had any picks yet, and Tunsil was our fourth rounder. I wouldn't say we're having a bad day. Just... uneventful.

Hecht is still there and he's a good OC steady at both run and pass protection.

He can play guard, too. I like him here, not sure that he's tops but in the running for sure

lattimore was a bad move. I didn't like it then and tried to be positive about it...but it was obviously a bad move. I'm meh on the trade for Deebo. I would've been okay if we didn't trade for him. as far as Tunsil, you do that trade every time. the Tunsil trade, alone, has reduced our draft capital for 2 consecutive drafts....but do you really regret that?

Yes. I love Tunsil, but Houston made it without him, we could have as well. I much rather we kept all our picks and spent our cap more wisely and been much further along our rebuild.

However, we jumped the gun, traded away a bunch of picks and still have a lot of holes to fill. Dead horse argument, I know but jeebus!
