The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 2

The last time they took a Wr in the third that I loved, I didn't have much love aside from myself on the dude on the board, was Terry.

I've been beating this drum, him and Bernard for months.

If people want someone aside from me, touting this guy, McShay loves him too. Thinks he can be an 80 catch slot WR right from the jump.
as long as he doesn't sign with terry's agent, i'll be happy.

Deebo's replacement? I think we will sign someone for the outside.

I'd love Hecht in the 5th.

I like Williams but really didn’t think we’d take him over other available guys because he feels more like a slot. Shorter area moves. Thought we’d prefer more of a vertical, larger threat.

So…McCaffrey and Lane can just get fucked then? What are we doing. I really don’t see either of them as potential answers outside but I could have seen one of them developing into a slot threat
They might be competing for one roster spot. Primary returner and last WR active on game day.

Will Williams provide some of what St. Brown does in Detroit in your opinion, SIP?

SIP what do you like so much about him? Hope you're right because I'm underwhelmed. Was hoping for Brazzell or Sarratt. Feel like we needed an outside guy more than a slot.
Brazzell is a 100% no go for me. I don't trust any wide receiver from Tennessee, he has a VERY simple route tree - only vertical. Shows no ability to do much other than catch a deep ball. We have a receiver that does those exact things - Dyami Brown. But he actually can run other routes.

We didn't miss on anything by not choosing Brazzell.

Not my favorite receiver. I do like him in the slot. He is a day one starter. Good YAC. Good player. He is versatile. Real quick.

Good pick. Got a starter, imo.

Lowest RAS ever for us with AP
At least you don’t have to go through the roof because they passed on a WR.

Giants just traded 105, 145, 2027 4th for 74 to come up and get Malachi Fields

I wasn’t a Fields guy (more Hurst), but AP better hit on Williams if Fields is good for NYG

I definitely don’t know football nor do I spend time like the guys on here, but can someone explain to me why we just drafted Isaiah Simmons and a tiny receiver? Sorry, obnoxious questions.

This makes me feel better about him. Glad we got a WR desperately need him to work out

The fact they took Williams over an outside receiver leads me to believe they know they are definitely getting Aiyuk.

Sure, but that’s not how they should be making decisions
