The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 2

I can honestly say I watched absolutely zero tape on Nate Boerkircher.....:)
I watched him live a few times and figured there wasn't much reason to watch him again. But I wasn't really impressed at all with this TE class. Very weak.

I mean, there isn't exactly much of it, guy has less than 200 yards last year.

At this point getting BTJr out of there is a Seal-Team-Six level rescue mission. Save that man.
I'm losing hope on that.

Eagles got the other best TE prospect after Sadiq.

Amazing how Philly came up with an entire pass offense in one draft by Round 3 with Lemon and the TE. for Jalen Hurts.

Meanwhile, we are beating the hustings looking for discards like Aiyuk and middle round picks to round out our motley crew.

We signed an excellent TE in FA. And Aiyuk is a pro bowl player. If he is truly healthy.

JP Acosta on Bluesky

No. 54, Philadelphia Eagles: Eli Stowers, TE, Vanderbilt

I think this is another guy who is gone a round or two too early. Stowers is more of a receiver than tight end, but he's explosive and can make catches outside his frame. This feels like PHI response to missing Sadiq

Oh boy, now the center run.

McCoy, EMW, Bell, Hill still on the board - have to wonder if there is some injury stuff for EMW and Hill. But only two safeties have been taken so maybe that's just the board?

If EMW is healthy and he is there at 71 it HAS to be him.

EDIT: Nevermind.

Browns having a great draft.

But we don't have Aiyuk on the roster at this point do we? And we are not sure he is healthy until we see it.

Meanwhile, the guys Roseman went and got don't have the baggage and are coming in cheap and motivated.

70 + 107 just got 58 + 152, for reference

There's 4 or 5 guys on this offense from MacNichols to Sinnott to McCaffrey and Lane that you could go to a team like the Rams or Seahawks and take the last guy on the bench at those positions and get better players.

Not sure if this was meant as hyperbole, but I certainly would not take Cody White or Mario Williams over LMC.

Same comments on in line blocking, etc. when Bowers was drafted.

When you get a guy that is that creative and impactful you can find a blocking tight end to pair with him.

Isn’t that another pretty huge TE reach? What is going on
