I just don't see how the Giants take Love - Cam Skattebo was electric for them last year until he broke his ankle. They need some offensive linemen desperately.

I can see the Giants going for Love for three reasons:

Saquon-remorse
They imagine SKattebo and Love being a thunder and lightning combo
They want a screw a team in their division

I don't think it'd be a good move for them, but I can see it. OTOH, it doesn't really feel like a move Harbaugh would make. I'd imagine in his first year the Giants are going to try to make him happy.

Their offensive line ranked top 10 by PFF last year. but if the idea is having the best D line and O line in the NFL as Harbaugh expressed -- he's not a mile away on the D line, he needs another D tackle. For the O line, he needs a star beyond Andrew Thomas, and they got a hole at guard -- so they need a high end O lineman if his idea is to have a great O line.

There is no way we end up with Styles, Tate, Delane and Downs drop to us. I'd want Styles but they should probably take Tate due to the too big of a roster hole. I hate drafting that way

They did so much in FA yet I hate that the WR2 was not settled.

Some of these defensive guys possibly landing in our lap at 7 is incredible. The waters could be muddied by the WR hole which is not a healthy way to approach things

Yeah there is still time to fix this but IMO Peters has sucked at that spot in his tenure so far. He’s off to a bad start again this year, at least he tried, but the results so far are the results,

It sure feels like they should have gone harder earlier at Doubs. To me he was the guy I would have went at.

I keep telling people that it's not just Skat. They also have Tyrone Tracy who had 1123 total yards the year before and a 1,040 last year in 15 games. No one ever mentions him when it comes to NY.

Tony Pollard had 1300 total yards for the Titans last year on 4.5ypc and 1300 yards the year before. I can't see 2 defensive minded coaches picking Love at one of their strongest positions currently

All in all, let's not get sidetracked. AP and DQ have been very clear since the off season started. They said they wanted to get younger, faster, and they wanted an explosive home run threat. We've done the first 2. We tried to get Pierce but struck out. There is no home run threat left in free agency besides a broken Hill who is probably not going to be ready for the season and is even riskier than Aiyuk. They believe they will get Brandon but he's not the home run threat right now.

If people remember that sentiment then it's clearly Love and Tate which is why they have spent more time and focus on Tate than anyone. 2 years ago we were decently explosive but last year we were in quicksand. They want a true game changer, field changer. Someone who the D has to respect as a legit big play threat. It's Love or Tate who they want. What hurt them and changed their plans was Pierce. Then they could really pick whoever but now it has to be one of the 2.

Man, imagine if we had Terry, Pierce, Aiyuk, Okonkwo, and Love.... Smh

I'll still take that group though minus Pierce if Aiyuk is healthy

Who does he have going picks #3-6 to have those guys available? Does he have 2 OL going in that range or something?

I don’t think any insider really knows anything, except maybe what the Jets are going to do because they are the Jets and stupid.

The theory makes some sense. Based on need, (I get it, BPA but BPA means different things to different people and factors in different things), I think the Titans will want to go with one of the DE’s.

The Giants with John “I am a gigantic cock” Harbaugh seem like a perfect fit for a stud defensive guy. Either Downs or Styles.

So both of those make sense. I’m not sure if the insiders know anything or are hearing things in the echo chamber which makes sense.

The Browns are really interesting to me. They signed a bunch of OL help. For a while the general consensus was they would go OL. I’m not so sure. I think they could be in a prime position to take whoever they deem the most valuable skill position player.

It’s going to be interesting to see how it plays out. I want an offensive skill position player. I think Love impacts the game more immediately and more often. However that has to come in conjunction with doing something (Jennings, Aiyuk, another draft pick, Deebo) at WR.
