The 2025 Free Agency Thread

Love that. Clear some cap. Make him earn the money through incentives. Wonder if a big move is coming? We were already around 30 mill under the cap.

I expect several more restructures. Actually, I am one of the few people who thought he was valuable after last year.

I would imagine he's a good option to have at RG til Cosmi gets back

Sounds like a paycut because we would have cut you otherwise. But if you start a lot of games by surprise then sure you'll get your old money

I am surprised the team is bringing KJ Osborn back in 2025 considering how little they used him after bringing him in during the 2024 season.

Although his past production would point to a player that could fill a #3 receiver role.

I wonder how many of these free agents are immediately excluded due to attitude or not fitting our lockeroom culture. We'll never know so we're at a disadvantage as fans. I'm sure some of the players wanted by the fans were never even possible because of this.

Interesting and smart move, I think, with Wylie. He's best as a serviceable back up--and we need depth with Cosmi out the majority of the year.

Lol..

Go ugly early.... Is more successful than you sometimes want it to be.
This is the way to go. Ugly early is easily attainable, because there is usually very little competition for those types until later in the night. The key is having the discipline to take care of business quickly (never a problem for me lol) and get back to the bar. Now it’s like a second down and one—there’s nothing to lose so you are free to take shots at what is normally unattainable. This is a low percentage play of course, but you are carrying the confidence of having already scored on the evening. When it works out, that’s one hell of a doubleheader! And even when it doesn’t, you’re getting guaranteed action.
