Holland is a good player. Murphy is not a man corner. He would have fit under the scheme with Jack Del Rio. We don't know exactly what Quinn wants this defense to be, but my instinct is that we want guys who are better in man.
 
HTTR I can only hope that CRod gets a fair shake this year. I believe he can dominate if given the chance and be the grinder we need at RB. We do need a pass catching RB (i.e., Woody Mark USC RB in this years draft) as hopefully Deebo can school him.
 
Dowdle is the definition of replacement level. There are at least 15 RB’s in this class who are instantly better, and that’s lowballing it
 
There are Conn. Many. I was just putting that out there as he did put up decent #s with the Dallas.
 
With them bringing Rodriguez back, I figured we were done at RB. Other than to maybe add a mid to late round pick from the deep draft as a prospect.

We need more speed out of the backfield.

A younger draft pick in middle to late rounds would be a nice addition.

Ekeler isn’t going to play 17 games.

Although they should find someone else to return kicks.

A 30 year old back with his injury history on special teams?

Not a net winner for the team.

I'm betting on them drafting one in the first 2 rounds depending on how the running backs fall in the draft.

Not big on BRob. Something is wrong with his timing, hitting the holes. If they could recoup something (draft pick 5th/6th) for him, it wouldn't hurt my feelings. I really hope CRod is truly given the chance to be our workhorse this year. BRob has average like 60 yards a game over his career.

I agree ,Ty Johnson is a better runner than Dowdle and a better receiver out of the backfield.
