yeah, I saw his penalty numbers...not good. from my recollection, this was more of an aberration and I'd prefer some false start penalties over completely whiffing their blocking assignment like I saw, especially from Coleman, on more than one occassion.

I could see us trading down now with either our 1 or 2. Possibly even both. Happy we got tunsil. Wonder where we place Coleman now. RT competition or place at RG until cosmi comes back and then is our swing tackle depth for the future.

Seeing some Texan fans fine with the deal, stating he’s a penalty/false start machine. Might be more of an outlier for this past season.

Edit to add - majority hate to see him leave since their OL was bad except for him.

I think trading down at 29 is extremely likely. Peters values his picks and this draft as I understand is characterized as less elite players but more solid expected starters than the average NFL draft bear. I am stunned by the Tunsil trade like everyone else and don't really see a downside. And I don't have any reservations with the price for Kinlaw, screw the Jets' comments. Peters knows him from SF and Peters has shown his judgement is pretty solid. The only real risk is injury, I think.

I think Coleman has a world of potential. Don't give up on him yet. Remember, he was a rookie who played without a single preseason snap or rep because of injuries.

I think it's worth it to point out the similarities between what transpired in FA at OT, and what is transpiring at edge. At OT, every guy was getting signed, it looked like we were doing nothing, and, boom, trade for a franchise LT. And now, all the edges have been getting signed, while it looks like we've been sitting idle....

The Texan fans... "Tunsil is a bum". "only time Tunsil doesn't get beat is when he held". "Tunsil was not the best O-lineman on the team"... They are having a difficult time accepting the trade. He was their favorite player an hour before the trade and now they all thought he should be cut if not traded. lol.

In reality, the Texans O-line gave up 54 sacks. Two. TWO were given up by Tunsil. He received all pro votes and was a pro-bowler (again). He was voted a team captain and by all accounts great in the locker room. Texans simply couldn't afford to keep him and knew it.

I'm alluding to the possibility of trading for Hendrickson. I don't think we go into FA with our biggest stated need at edge, and then just cross our fingers and hope a guy falls to 29 that can make a big impact this year.
