The 2025 Free Agency Thread

I imagine the Quinn connection would trump the Peters connection if it came down to Chinn vs. Hufnaga. After all, Quinn and the defensive staff know exactly how well Chinn fits in and how well they like him while even if Peters loves Hufnaga they still have to project how well he fits.

What connection does Quinn have with Chinn, outside of him being on the team last season?
 
I don’t mind spending on experience but Mack at 34 and Miller at 36? Doesn’t make my toes tingle.

To me, that's a pretty big connection. He's had a full year working with him and seeing what he does well, how hard he works, studies, practices, etc.
 
Still too high but they are at least getting sort of closer to his actual market value.

Turn that 2nd ask into a 3rd and you might get some bites.

But he is every bit as much a Peters guy. Peters selected him in free agency. Even with Quinn’s blessing he is still a Peters guy.

I think we have too many other needs to be sending multiple draft picks to go get Hendrickson. I think he ends up getting an extension and some new money to stay with the Bengals.

I’d make a run at Joey Bosa and hope he suddenly stays healthy. Risky I know but he played 14 games last season.

He’s not a 30M a year receiver. Especially when we are already paying Terry and Deebo. Not happening.

I am with you, they have given up enough draft picks for my taste.

I appreciate the non-tyrannical attitude toward banning people here, but yeah that kid was asking for it. He’ll fit in much better on Reddit.

I get that. I really would rather no trades at this point. Bosa scares me but I could see them take a run at him. There are so many good DL in the draft you need to pick just the right players.

These next 48 hours are going to be bonkers with a giant flurry of signings and resignings!

And an outside receiver who is a deep threat. And a true deep safety with range. And a running back who can provide explosive plays in the running game.

But mainly pass rush and O’Line!!

Maybe. I heard somewhere that Hartman and Daniels had developed a close relationship.

Hartman won’t ever be a good #2 due to physical limitations. But for a #3 or PS QB, you can do worse.

And let’s be honest. He raises the quality of the hair of the team significantly. Dude’s got great hair.

Could be, at least until his rookie contracts done. Improving at every position or adding competition is always welcomed
