He has always been more of a 3-4 DE but I would absolutely love to have him here for a year. I've always loved him as a player and he'd bring the leadership to the DL room I'm not sure we currently have on the roster.
 
Well it certainly looks like the Bears are going all-in on their OL, living up to what Ben Johnson said:
- Thuney
- Jonah Jackson
According to some metrics, two of the best pass-blocking guards in the league:
According to ESPN Research, 94 players had at least 60 pass-block plays with a win or loss at guard last season. Jackson (98.5%) and Thuney (98.2%) had the two highest pass block win rates at guard of that group. Thuney, 32, is coming off back-to-back seasons as a first-team All-Pro selection. He also was selected to his third straight Pro Bowl in 2024.

I expect Peters will be wise in Free agency and pick up younger players with a high upside-. I think he will roll over money for free agency next year and it would not surprise me to see him trade down quite a bit for lower picks and draft picks for next year.
 
Does anybody know how much cap room the Eagles have after extending Barkley and Baun?

I don't expect him to spend a lot either, GN. I do think he trades down but I don't think he acquires picks for next year. I think he moves down once maybe twice and gets an additional 2 to 3 picks making the total he uses in the draft to 8 possibly 9 selections.

Perfect fit as Whitt and DQ are familiar with Jourdan Lewis and he could be had on a 3 year inexpensive deal. He has his season last year too.

According to OTC they have 19M in effective cap space remaining.

I don't think that includes the Baun signing tho, and I can't tell if it includes the Barkley extension. I'm guessing probably not since I don't think they've released the exact terms so far.

So given they are probably pushing some Barkley money and backloading Baun a bit, I'm guessing they probably still have around that amount.
