58. T Morgan Moses, New York Jets
Moses remained a model of consistency in his 11th NFL season, missing just two weeks with a knee injury and logging at least 14 starts for the 10th consecutive season — every year since his sophomore campaign when he became a starter. That said, Moses has now played less than 70% of snaps in consecutive seasons after eight straight above 90%. Moore really rounded out his game during his rookie contract and took a step forward in 2024 after consistent struggles in pass protection over his first three seasons. 42. G Mekhi Becton, Philadelphia Eagles
Becton is the latest in a very long line of star pupils to attend Jeff Stoutland University in Philadelphia, working with arguably the league’s best offensive line coach to get his career back on track. A kick inside to guard for 2024 may not be a permanent move for Becton, as the Eagles have possibly the best tackle tandem in the NFL, but his demonstrated versatility across the line is only a good thing.
20. T Cam Robinson, Minnesota Vikings
Robinson was part of a Jaguars team that had a dismal start to 2024. But individually, he was a reliable option at left tackle before being acquired by the Vikings at the trade deadline. His 95.1 pass-blocking efficiency rating this regular season was the worst mark of his career, but if anything, that's a testament to his play over the past four years.Top free agent comparison: Russell Okung, 2016

8. T Ronnie Stanley, Baltimore Ravens
It's hard to argue that any player improved their free-agency stock more this season than the Ravens‘ left tackle. After a devastating ankle injury in 2021 seemed to stall his career, Ronnie Stanley was back to top form in 2024, posting an impressive 79.6 PFF pass-blocking grade through the first 12 weeks.Top free agent comparison: Anthony Castonzo, 2020

If AP does bring in Deebo, that's one big hole filled prior to FA or the draft. Makes those strategies a little easier allowing to focus on other roster holes.

If it's not Garrett I don't want a splash signing. Out on Tee Higgins due to the cost. Deebo won't cost a lot of draft capitol and I guess it depends on the deal. He is not the same player he was 3 years ago but he's still a major upgrade.
I'd like to see them sign several players at the level between Chinn and Luvu. Just get more damned good football players, then hope that one or a draft pick or 2 becomes a great player. Keim mentioned Dre Greenlaw. He is coming off injury so his value is low but he's only 27 and this would be the type of signing I hope to see.

Not sure Deebo even qualifies as splash. He’s not only declining, but injury prone too. And last year he just plain sucked. AP knows him well, so we have to trust his judgement here, but I can’t imagine Deebo costing very much draft capital. In fact if it’s more than a 5th or 6th I’d rather go after Slayton or someone else.
Agreed which is why I didn't put him in the same catagory as Higgins or Garrett. Not sure what happened this year but he has a lot of miles on the tires, and he isn't really the deep threat we were thinking of. But I believe Deebo still has production left so as I said as long as the costs is not too high I'd be OK here, a 5th or so as you said. No to Devante Adams, Cooper Kupp etc.

I am still of the mind that Dyami Brown can provide what Samuel can at this point in their careers. Brown is four years younger, and Kingsbury was talking up how much his professionalism improved makes me believe Brown will be better in the next 3-4 years than Samuel:

Raiders I hear are shopping Michael Mayer. Two years left on his rookie deal. So cheap and maybe ready to blossom in year 3. He was well regarded coming out of college. Can catch and block. I didn’t follow how he did with the Raiders—pretty quiet I guess, but there’s no shame in losing your job to Brock Bowers. Any interest?? I’d rather get a young guy with upside than one of these 30 yo WRs..

I’d rather sign Slayton and keep my 5th rounder. I wouldn’t trade draft capital for an aging, expensive WR. If we are going to trade for a WR, I’d rather pay a little more in capital and cash, and trade for Tee Higgins.
Ideally though, we’d do neither. Debo is getting cut if he isn’t traded. And there is no way Cinci franchises Higgins for a 3rd time next year. Both may come available without giving up anything, if we wait.

The pass rusher market will be one to monitor. Garrett has publicly requested a trade from Cleveland, while Maxx Crosby, Trey Hendrickson, T.J. Watt and Micah Parsons are all eyeing fresh deals.Seventeen of the top 20 highest AAV contracts in the league belong to quarterbacks; wide receiver Justin Jefferson, pass rusher Nick Bosa and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb hold the other three spots. Don’t be surprised to see shuffling as those premier sack artists cash in — with their current teams or elsewhere.
On Garrett, the Browns have remained consistent since his trade request went public six days before the Super Bowl: They are not listening to offers. If the Browns change their minds, I expect movement to happen as the draft nears and Cleveland GM Andrew Berry has to make tough roster decisions.
I’m told the Philadelphia Eagles’ interest in Garrett is real. As fearsome as Philly’s defense was in the Super Bowl, imagine adding the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year?
“Garrett could be this year’s version of Saquon Barkley for Howie [Roseman],” one NFL GM said. “He’s an impact add and isn’t a free-agent overpay. Howie’s not afraid to try stuff, and it fits where they are as a team.”
How would the Eagles come up with room to fit Garrett? By letting some key members of their Super Bowl-winning group walk. Linebacker Zack Baun was a free-agent gem Roseman found last offseason, but he is now poised to cash in. Baun, edge rusher Josh Sweat, DT Milton Williams and guard Mekhi Becton headline Philly’s free agent class, and bringing all or even some of them back could prove challenging, especially if Garrett enters the picture — and you can be certain Roseman will have Philly in the conversation for Garrett.

That would be a nightmare if he end up in Philly.
Many of you won't like this comment but....acquiring Mayers to replace Ertz as the starting TE brings more youth, speed and potential to the position and to JD's weapons. Or, he could replace Bates which gives you Mayers, Ertz and Sinnott as the TE corps. He is a really good all around TE.

It will be interesting to see if AP brings back vets who have to rest week in and out the play on Sundays. Maybe he did that last year to bring some leadership/mentorship to the new team.

I am not a big fan of the trade. But Deebo gives you versatility. He can play out of the backfield as well. Makes Ekelers salary expendable imo. Can draft a rookie RB now.
