Welcome to Washington Trey Amos.
And good to see Gary Clark on stage.

I actually agree with this. As much as I dislike Deon Sanders. There is something wrong that the personal negatives of Shedur (arrogance and his dad) are viewed as so much more toxic than Mike Green's.
Earlier this month, quite a few mocks had Shedur as the 2nd overall pick. So, I don't think so.Are they, or are you failing to properly modify for talent? Green is a top-15 talent on the field, easily. Sanders is not just controversial off the field, he’s also not an elite prospect. Kind of changes the equation, it’s apples to oranges when you disregard off field stuff

All good. I just think Sanders' baggage is of a different caliber than Mike Green's. Hopefully, Green is a good citizen and the noise was just noise.Let me preface this with... I have no idea what I'm talking about... but
...this is just another Malik Willis situation. Sanders had more eyes on him cuz of his father, AND this was a weak QB draft.
Amos in my mind pushes Jones for a starting corner spot in 2025.
Having Lattimore, Amos, Jones and Sainristil in the CB group puts us miles ahead of where we were last summer when Forbes and St. Juste were on the depth chart.
between our secondary and o-line, I am feeling pretty good. both units had a tremendous overhaul. we all know our d-line are just a bunch of JAGs, but I feel much better about our team, give me a RB at #4 + incremental improvement at WR we got with Deebo and I'm good. the 2025 team feels leaps and bounds better than what we've had the last 4 or 5 years. za'darius smith or other waiver opportunities later in the off-season would be gravy. As much as I want an edge at some point, if I'm being serious, Amos is a wayyyy better CB than any of the edges left were edges.
MAN think about how different our CB corps is:
2024:
Forbes
Ben St. Juste
Noah I
Mike Davis
Sainristil
2025:
Lattimore
Sainristil
Amos
Jones
Noah I
Absolute overhaul in the best way
He has a couple of mentors in the organization. Ray Lewis can advise him to wait until AFTER you are drafted to commit a felony. Ray Rice can advise him to not commit said felony on camera. And that is why they win consistently. They take risks on guys. Some pan out some dont.
It is really unprecedented. It almost seems like some teams would rather sign Kaepernick than draft Sanders at this point.Wonder how far Sanders is going to fall. Teams must see him as a backup - I think he can play but his lack of arm strength and marginal mobility plus all the off field hype that would come with him are clearly putting teams off. I think he can be a starter in the right system, he processes well and throws with anticipation.
