I didn't mention Tyliek. Stewart is about mock drafters speculating that he can fall that far.

If I had to guess our pick whether its late first or trade down to the early 2nd: It would be one among: L. Jackson, Tuimoloau, Ezeiruaku, Amos, Hairston, Harmon, Henderson.

I agree but I think you have to add Conerly to that list too.

Blue is fascinating to me. Very fast - explosve. Change of pace back. Fumbles like crazy, worst in this class. But he doesn't get enough credit as a pass catcher. He's one of the best pass catchers in this class. up there with L. Allen, and B. Smith.

Yes, his hands are good catching the ball but like you said and I think about Tuten too, I have to wonder why AP is targeting them at RB with their fumbling issues. You can learn bigger hands and with Blue his hand size is 8 1/4" and that is super small for a RB. Tuten's are 9' which is better. We shall see soon enough.

As much as I like Woody Marks and would be thrilled for us to draft him I find myself getting drawn more and more to Ollie Gordon. The more I watch, the more I like especially the 2023 tape. He could be an absolute bargain get for us too.

Unless we trade down (I really believe we will in the 1st round) and get more picks, I'm guessing that AP takes a RB in the 6th round. Both Gordon and Marks should be available. I like the extra burst that Marks gives us. If we draft Gordon instead, I'd be cool with it.

Yeah I watched him yesterday. He looked maybe a tad thinner in 2023? or maybe it was just his team really sucked last year.

But in 2023, he looked a bit to me like how i described Kaleb Johnson. when he can get to that 2nd level, he's hard to catch but did it more in between the tackles than Kaleb. Wondering about the DUI and if there are any character concerns? Wonder if that's part of the point of their proday meeting.

I presume they think the fumbiling issues can be fixed. They are a bigger problem with Blue than Tuten.

Blue as a pass catcher is special. If they can fix the fumbiling issues, he'd be fun. Brashard Smith is the safer pick as a pass catcher with speed.

Tuten isn't so much a pass catcher but as a runner IMO he's better than Blue.

So its two different ideas. But both would be fun. We don't have game breakers for the most part who can take it to the house. Both these guys can do it in their own way.

The big caveat is if teams are offering us little in the way of a trade down in the 1st, then AP make the selection at 29.

I would average the RBs that they've met with as in the 4th round range among the ones we know, at least judging by mocks.

The dudes who would be after the 4th, judging by mocks would be Marks and Croskey-Merritt.

Tuten-J. James, O. Gordon, Blue are usually in that late 3rd-late 4th range in most mocks. Henderson in the 2nd. Clearly though they've met with more backs but alas we don't know who.

Yeah I've seen him as early as top 10 in some mocks, but usually top 15.

Though McGinn's scouts have him as their #4 corner behind Hairston so maybe he's a surprise drop?

Really good athlete with change of direction. Not super explosive down the field. That’s the only thing. Kills stuff in zone and underneath where he can jump routes. Hands are really good. Not a safety-type tackler but really good for a corner. Just a versatile winner wherever you play this guy. He’s more of a skilled cover guy than Brian Branch. Goes in the 20’s.” Started 39 of 57 games over five seasons. Finished with 226 tackles (21 for loss), eight picks and 24 passes defensed.
