I didn't love the Wylie signing but I did think he was a better guard than tackle so I think he can hold the fort until Cosmi is back.

Just watched Ty Robinson for the first time. He's a different kind of player stylistically. Massive upper body who bulls rushes and just tries to steamroll the O lineman. Often double teamed. He's a handful. Would be better IMOif he developed more of a pass rushing arsenal but I could see him being intriguing for a team.

2025 NFL draft news: Intel on top picks, prospects, sleepers
- Multiple teams said they could see Michigan's Colston Loveland as the first tight end taken -- ahead of Warren. "Because of athleticism and upside," an AFC executive said. Both players have a chance to go pretty high, though.
- Teams have some injury concerns with cornerback Will Johnson. He did not run a predraft 40-yard dash. While some franchises are wondering whether he'll be available in the back half of the first round, one AFC executive finds that hard to believe because of Johnson's strong body of work on the field.
- Kentucky corner Maxwell Hairston is considered a riser as the draft approaches. "He's a first-round-graded player, easy," a veteran NFL defensive coach said. He has the speed (4.28-second 40 time) and instincts. And while his size (5-foot-11, 183 pounds) has been a slight concern for some evaluators, it shouldn't affect his stock much.
- Several teams are anticipating a run on RBs at some point. North Carolina's Omarion Hampton could go earlier than expected. An executive said he believes Denver (No. 20) could be a pivot point for running backs. "I think [Hampton is] the best back, and I think that's who Denver is targeting," the exec said. Ohio State's TreVeyon Henderson could also go earlier than most think. Enough teams have him very high on their RB board, meaning late Round 1 isn't totally out of the question. Contenders such as the Texans, Chiefs and Commanders are looking to improve their ground games. The Chiefs conducted a virtual call with Henderson on Tuesday, and coach Andy Reid was part of the call.
- It's always fun to ask teams for their sleeper first-rounders -- names that would be a mild surprise to the common fan but not necessarily to those in the draft rooms. Here are a few I've heard: South Carolina defensive lineman T.J. Sanders, Minnesota offensive tackle Aireontae Ersery, Ohio State guard Donovan Jackson and East Carolina corner Shavon Revel Jr. (Kansas State corner Jacob Parrish and Texas A&M defensive lineman Shemar Turner are deeper sleepers mentioned for Day 2.)

The gist was he thought J. Campbell could drop to the 2nd round, Will Johnson to the late first because of injuries.
Ersery he doesn't think ends up in the first because of his football character -- supposed lack of work ethic.

That would suck if true. I really like Henderson as an every down back. And was hoping he would be there at 61.
I dont think Henderson can handle a full workload in the NFL. He couldn't stay healthy playing all 3 downs in college and it wasn't until he rotated with Judkins that he was able to play the full season.

Yes, clskinsfan. I think the only way we land him is either at #29 (I don't think AP will do that) or more likely trading down and getting him with and early 2nd rounder.
Agree, I love Henderson but he IMO is a rotational back not a workhorse #1 back for #2 reasons.
1. He's not good at getting tough yards versus stacked boxes, etc.
2. Durability issues
Coming from a dude who loves Henderson. I'd only take Jeanty and Hampton ahead of him and Hampton just by a hair. Teams loving Henderson i don't think connotes they see him as a #1 back. The best comp he usually gets is to J. Gibbs. Gibbs had to step up this season with Montgomry's injury. But he's part of a 1-2 punch. Henderson IMO likely the same thing. And that's fine. Plenty of teams do RBs by committee.

Scouts compare him to Bijan Robinson, Emmitt Smith & LaDainian Tomlinson. They say he was robbed of the Heisman, too. Now, teams must figure out when to draft the Boise State star back (and all RBs).

He’ll be great in the locker room no matter where he goes. I never saw him as having great vision to be a consistent inside runner.” Finished with 590 carries for 3,761 (6.4) and 42 TDs to go with 77 receptions for 853 (11.1) and six scores. “He’s got pick and slide and movement and balance,” a third scout said. “Really good hands. He’s a rotational starter. Maybe second round.”
I think no shot he's there at 61. i get the impression listening to Keim that this team won't take him at 29. i think its unlikely we end up with Henderson but like you I'd love to have him. However, there are so many RBs I dig that I won't cry about Henderson. But it would be cool to have him.

I actually think Henderson goes to Denver at 20. Payton wants his speed weapon and Loveland will be gone.
