did i hear on the radio that there is a video snippet of jayden giggling as hes being chased by a giants defender?

Not sure how to feel about that

That was our assessment. He was waiting, and then throws he did make were just a bit behind, adjustments couldn't be made...you can't turn your body in a different direction to make the catch with a defender behind you. Simple wrinkles. Hope we work them out.

Another thing I think we as spectators may miss...especially those of us who are watchers and not physically able to do anything remotely close to this: it's PHYSICAL. You gotta be in the ultimate shape to do anything like this. Let's not be too judgmental. They're only human.

There’s a picture going around of him smiling while rolling out away from Burns, could be that.

Not sure what you mean about not being sure what to feel about it lol, his calm cool collectedness is a huge part of why the team performed so well in high leverage “winning time” situations last year, the roster feeds off his energy and the fact that the moment is never too big for him (and by extension, them). I hope he keeps the attitude that he’s toying with defenders forever. I hope he’s 36 and laughing in the face of a rookie 3rd overall pick EDGE in the late 2030’s while he shuffles towards the sideline lol

I like him having fun, I like him getting along with the "other guys"

I just want him to also have that "step on their neck" thing going too.

Mabye laughing "with them" gets them to pull up when they get a chance at a hit though (probably just pisses them off more)

Hes definately a smarter man than me, so i concede

I don’t think it contradicts his killer mindset at all, he’s just having fun while trying to kill you. That makes it worse for opponents imo

He definitely has a killer instinct. Go back and watch all the 4th quarters last year. I think the "being friendly with the opponent" strategy helps him avoid huge hits from defenders. I think it was last season where Jalen Carter picked him up and just put him down slowly vs slam him

I totally get what you're saying and i agree but i also see the other side of it, objective words being "i dont know" how to feel.

On the one hand yes everything you said is good but when its going well.

When rodgers or brady would be smiling it was after an 80 yard strike when they were up by 30 points, thats different than having a huge giggle and a smile after badly missing mclaurin on a surefire touchdown.

I love that he's cool and collected out there but i do see the mild concern with some of his blasè type attitude (for lack of a better word) that he sometimes displays after mistakes.

I dont think i ever saw brady or manning laughing it up after a huge miss that was their fault.

Him and Burns was such a fun subplot in this game. Burns caught him twice and could have crushed him or tossed him on the ground and didn't. Seemed like the two of them had a blast playing against each other.

I enjoyed that.

I mean, you’re allowed to feel that way, but you have to be self-aware enough to know why nobody cares, right? Some fans being upset that the QB doesn’t seem as disappointed in himself after a mistake as they are literally doesn’t matter. Other than fixing it later in the film room, the most important thing after a mistake is for the entire team to be able to move on with confidence like it never happened and keep competing. That’s what he helps guys do. They never feel smaller than the moment or overwhelmed, and part of that is because of how he carries himself.

This is a similarly pointless take to the people who don’t like that division rival players are friends and yuck it up after the game, win or lose. I get it, from a kayfabe standpoint, it just literally doesn’t matter. And in this case, there’s actually a tangible upside to Daniels’ relaxed attitude and it was a huge part of our team relaxing in big moments along with him last year en route to shocking the world with a NFCCG appearance. So seeing the benefits compared to a technically proficient QB like Kirk Cousins who tightens up in big moments and brings his anxiety into the huddle, I think you’re just objectively wrong (while still being free to feel that way).

It’s not just reflexive defense of the franchise QB imo. It’s rational disagreement.

God it's 1000% this. It's not rooted in a laissez-faire attitude, it's complete and total self-confidence (and also, confidence that the next time with Terry they're gonna hit on it, and it's going to be glorious). And it is infectious, and that should be easy to see. You didn't see us play tight as a unit until the talent and mistake gap finally fell out in the NFCCG.

Which is fine, i have no problem with rational disagreement but the drive by thumbs down with out explaining your opinion is what i have a problem with.
Explain your reason for disagreement like you did and hell i might even change my mind.
 
He just seems to actually have fun. Like he is playing in the backyard. But he has no issue putting his foot on a neck to win. Hard to remember aometimes that this is still just a game. Someone who can remember that is rare.
