Taylor Heinicke Discussion

These are not clear examples. As I explained. Why should I just agree with him if I think he's wrong?

What is clear is that Heinicke is 10 times better than worthless Wentz.
Well, he's not wrong. You're just drunk on loving Heinicke.

I don't need to. The entire fanbase argued over it.

Hell, man. They even made stickers it was so divided.

But, don't let facts ruin a good drama moment

Sure you don't. It's because you're drunk on Heinicke

Or maybe you're just a troll.
Yes. A plank owner of this site is a troll.

Son, these people know me in real life. Have been in my home. Know my family.

The fact you don't know the stickers for QBs I mean just shows you don't know your history.

If you're referring to stickers for Kilmer and Jurgensen....who cares? How is that even relevant to this discussion?

What evidence do you have that Jurgensen was clearly better than Kilmer in the early 1970s, when Kilmer joined Washington?

Kilmer led Washington to a Super Bowl. The team was very successful in the early 1970s. It was a totally different situation.

So, you DO know the stickers I was referring to. Good to know. You lie when you are proven wrong.

To your point now, it doesn't matter what side you were on. It was a real debate and has happened several times on this team.

No, I don't. I was just guessing....after all, they weren't going to make RG III or Kirk Cousin stickers for the lousy ass Washington teams from 2013 or 2014.

Yes, it was a real debate....because it wasn't clear who was better. That's my whole freaking point.

Sure you were. You should get a bookie with that great ability of guessing exactly right

You defeated your own argument when you said it was a "real debate". --

Yes, it was a real debate....because it wasn't clear who was better between Jurgensen and Kilmer. That's my whole freaking point.

It's crystal clear that Heinicke is better than Wentz.

Deflection of your own dishonesty is a good move, but a rookie one. You have too much emotion involved here and ignore anyone else's point so nobody takes you seriously.

Nobody is arguing that Wentz is better any more. In fact, today has been nothing but arguing that. It's a shame you're so stuck in your argument you can't see it.

It's not deflection. That's what the entire discussion was about. Read it.

Here's what happened....You started another tiresome lecturing of me, and then you forgot what the argument was about.

In other words...you are the one deflecting. And you just blew up your own argument in the process. Oops.

Sure I did. Good night, new guy. Enjoy baiting the rest of the site. I'm back to ignoring you.

Okay, Alex Smith starter
Backup Maholmes

even though Smith had a career year, no one complained about trading him because they knew Patrick was better.

There's a reason why Redskins fans have always said "the most popular person in Washington is the backup QB"

It's been that way for 50 years. And the OVERWHELMING majority of the time, the backup does not end up being better than the starter.

It's not all about the actual players either, you have to believe the people making the decisions, are good decision makers. Rivera and co don't exactly have a sterling history in that sense. If we were to put Heinicke in, does Turner change the offensive gameplan to suit Heinicke's talent? Heinicke is a short, athletic QB with a minus arm. That would scream to me, a lot of roll outs, boot action. Does Turner do that, or does he force feed the same offensive scheme we're running now? Does he want Heinicke to be able to make that 50 yard rainbow throw to Dyami Brown? Does he ask Heinicke to throw that same out route that requires plus arm strength? I'm sorry but I don't have a lot of confidence in that, because we're yet to see him do it for any other QB in this system.

I know the overwhelming majority of the time the backup Washington QB is not better.

However, for the first time that I can remember, it is 100% clear that our backup QB is better than our starting QB. Heinicke is better than Wentz. It's not even up for debate at this point.

Wentz is pitifully bad and his days as a starting QB are over after this season. He is very lucky that he has two inept buffoons like Snyder and Rivera willing to pay millions for his worthless services.
