it's really amazing with all the problems in the word and at home that some people here have nothing else to hang their hat on other than this issue.
in the end even if I were to agree that I would not now name a team the 'Redskins' in 2009 if I bought an expansion club, the fact is the team has held that name since 1937.
If I am a native-american (and there are those that do not think the name offensive) at some point through this process I would hope to learn that there is NO way to legally enforce my own vision of respect and honor.
It's just too subjective.
What to one is 'offensive and outdated' is a 'homage' to someone else.
