Yup, you heard me correctly. Every player on the field gets a stun gun and you have to try to make your way down the field dodging opposing players armed with the self-defense tools.

I wonder if they have a bounty system?

These guys are real idiots.
I could see paint ball and soccer going together nicely :)

When I was at TBS in Quantico (Marine officer's training) we played 'Combat Soccer'. Everyone carried a weapon consisting of a laundry bag full of shoes and other non-lethal but un-soft items. Tackling was allowed. At least 2 balls in play at all times. We had some epic contests, but after the 2nd set of broken bones, our officer instructors put an end to the fun.

That actually sounds like fun Boone. The only reason I played soccer as a youth instead of football was because I was a damn good goalie. There was just enough physical contact at that position to keep me interested. Not to mention, I was able to play in Germany.

And I did play Rugby for a brief stint Lanky. I just lost interest.

Stupidity is the antithesis of oil. There will never be a shortage of it.
Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes:

"There are only two things that are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not so sure about the universe."
-Einstein
