I took that to mean it's like being shoved by a bulldozer as opposed to being hit by a truck. Slower but just as..meaningful. :)
 
I may be grasping for straws, but could Cousins pick could be to keep him away from someone else? This pick still baffles me. Can't wait to hear Shanahan's reason.

Definitely fits a need. I just wish they had addressed this in earlier rounds, when better players were available.
 
Two "who the heck is that" picks in the 7th. Not sure what value late round CB's have. Kinda bummed. Anyone have info?

Not every pick is for 'now'...I think we miss that. If they think this guy could either be a great backup for the next 10 years, or prove to be a starter-quality player we can trade to someone else, it'll have been an incredible value.
 
Just getting back from a wedding (who the eff sets their wedding the weekend of the Draft, btw), did I miss anything?

I could replace Banks. I just run it out to the 18 every time. Done.

For me, Cousins isn't the 'WTF' pick today - it's going with McRibeus in the 3rd round. They'd better be right about him - because I just can't see taking him there.

You need to get your priorities straight. I might have missed my OWN wedding if it were scheduled on draft weekend.
 
My phone nearly exploded with the Cousins pick because of texts and Twitter. Wife got mad and glared at me.

ShanAllen really coulda helped me out by holding off on that pick until after the vows exchange.

That is 2 "wtf" picks this draft.
 
So our 7th round corners are Brandon Thompson/Byron Westbrook "Special Team" types who could possibly make the team or practice squad. Not sure I see the upgrade or why we needed two guys. If they are an improvement over Thompson and Westbrook, fine. Otherwise, I refuse to get excited about these two.

Slightly surprised we didn't grab a NT to compete with Nield. NJB would have been fun to watch in short yardage situations. ;)
 
The UDFA pool could be interesting with the expanded camp rosters.
 
Looks like Jake Long could be available. We cut John Beck a short time ago.

Off season is really in full swing.
